But if their relationship would only lead them to drain and torment each other endlessly, perhaps divorce was the ideal outcome. At least then, she wouldn't have to endure so much misery.

"Divorce might actually be a good decision. I'd be free, and I could live an easygoing life on my own. Con, let's drink!" With that, she raised her glass and started drinking again.

Rachel had no choice but to join her. Before long, Yvonne was dragging her to the dance floor.
