Chapter 965 Confess to Each Other
As Colton looked at her, he smiled and sat beside the woman. Then, he tilted his head as he stared at her face. "Do
you have any thoughts about what Beryl said?" he asked.
Hearing his words, Nicole still had a stoic face. She lowered her eyes and thought momentarily before saying, "If I
were to come in contact with them again, it would only be related to the incident with Norman back then."
Colton wasn't surprised by her words. He rubbed his chin briefly and said, "I have warned them before. Adam isn't
someone who'd find trouble for himself, so I'm guessing they might have some internal issues within the team."
Adam knew that Colton had connections with Wolf, so he would never provoke Colton. After all, there wouldn't be
any good if Undercity and Wolf were to go against each other.

Colton rarely saw Nicole like this. A glint flashed across his eyes, and he asked tentatively, "What do you plan on
doing?"
Nicole smirked coldly and looked at him. "I'm sure you know that I have some connections with Uzor's
mercenaries," she said in a low voice.
Colton said nothing, surprised that Nicole was bringing this up.
"I have some connections with Lome. Since they want to hurt Hayden, I won't go easy on them," Nicole answered
honestly.
When Colton heard Nicole mentioning Lome, his expression changed.
There was a no-man's-land in Uzor that gathered many mercenaries. Most of them were retired soldiers from the
military, along with several sinister individuals. Lome was the biggest force there, and they were ruthless people
who would do anything for money.
"Are you from Lome?" Colton asked in a low voice. No wonder Beryl couldn't find out anything about her.
"Well, kind of." Nicole lowered her eyes. At that moment, she thought about the months she had spent there and
slowly clenched her fists.
Back in the day, she had saved the leader of Lome. However, the leader didn't last six months despite her trying to
save him. During those six months, she saved many people with her skillful medical skills, and the leader made her
the next leader of Lome after he died.
At first, she refused the position because she didn't want to live a life of having to kill others. Plus, not only was
Lome paid to do illegal things, but they were also into firearms. However, she was eventually forced to take his

After all, she couldn't ban all of their activities since it was their livelihood.
In other words, she was the titular head of the organization. If nothing important happened, she wouldn't show
herself in front of others. Now that Undercity had their eyes on her and Hayden, she needed Lome's help.
Seeing that Nicole had told him everything, Colton decided to tell the truth too. "You've met Julian before, tight? To
be honest, he is just Wolf's leader when it comes to dealing with stuff on the surface."
Stuff on the surface? Nicole squinted her eyes and looked at him.
"I built Wolf after I was in charge of Gardner Corporation. At first, we only dealt with trivial stuff. Then, the
organization began growing and turned out like this." Colton told her truthfully.
After listening to his words, Nicole was surprised. However, she wasn't surprised that Colton was the one behind
Wolf. Rather, she was surprised that he had told her everything.
