executives. They have snatched the rights you had in Fairchild Corporation. Besides, they

also intend to take over your father’s influence in the country. Not only that, Zyon intends

to make Rufus amend his will by getting married soon. If he could make his fiancée

pregnant in the following month, then he has a high chance of inheriting his assets.”

She continued, “This time, the father and son duo is determined to get what they want. If

Rufus disagrees, I think something dangerous will ensue. You have to stop delaying and

make a move soon!”

Xavier frowned. “How’s your cooperation with the police?”

“Everything is going well.”

“Okay. That’s great. On a side note, I want to take something back from you,” uttered

Xavier.

A frown appeared on Yulissa’s face. “What? Since I return, I don’t recall taking anything

from you.”

“The badge.” He fixed his gaze on Yulissa and went on, “You took a black badge from me

about a month ago. It doesn’t belong to you. You lied to me and stole the badge from me.”

After giving his words some thought, Yulissa smiled faintly in response.

“Indeed, I have that badge. If I’m not mistaken, you don’t own the badge. Am I right? I bet

you don’t know what that is as well.”

“So what? Where is it? Give it back to me.”

“You should mind your attitude.” Yulissa leaned back against the bed and said, “Shouldn’t

you come over to please me if you want something from me? Since you ask for the badge

personally, I think it must be important to you. I’ll return the badge to you if you can come

over and carry me to the bed. Or else, it’s a no from me.”

Xavier narrowed his eyes.

Just when he was about to say something, Yulissa interrupted, “Don’t you think about

threatening me with harsh words. It’s useless, as I don’t care about anything anymore in

this world. If you can’t do it, you won’t be able to get that badge from me. Come over. I

only want you to carry me. Is that so difficult for you? My legs are tied, and I can’t get to

the bed myself.”

As Xavier stared at Yulissa, his eyes turned redder.

He kept mum for a brief moment before controlling his wheelchair to approach Yulissa.

Meanwhile, Yulissa had a victorious smile on her face, seeing him coming in her direction

obediently.

Just when Xavier was about to bend down to carry her, shewrapped her hands around

Xavier’s neck out of the blue.

Although her hands were tied, the loose fabric did not hinder her mobility.

With her hands wrapped around his neck, Yulissa swiftly grabbed a small needleless

syringe from her cuff.

She injected the special drug into Xavier’s neck. The next second, she opened her mouth

to take a bite on the other side of his neck.

“Are you insane?” Xavier roared furiously as his eyes became even redder. Immediately,

he threw Yulissa onto the bed.

Xavier did not go easy on her just because she was a woman. Yulissa’s head knocked on

the headboard with a loud thud. Almost instantly, she got a bump on her head.

Albeit feeling furious, seeing his reddened eyes, she could not help but feel a surge of

happiness in her heart.

It works! Now, I can take revenge on both Xavier and Winnie! Although his body is still

within my control, he’s considered aggressive to me. Now that he got jabbed again, he

would act more hostile toward Winnie. It’s going to be interesting watching the infighting

between them! I will enjoy that! By the way, how I hope they could harm each other. I

think I have to think of a way to inject him a few more times.

Meanwhile, Xavier had never expected that Yulissa would dare to bite him.

He felt so much rage in him that he had not experienced before.

“Where is the badge?”

Yulissa merely shook his head. “I’m sorry, Xavier. Your service a while ago was so bad.

Furthermore, you haven’t helped me to bring Zyon down. Before you accomplish that, I

won’t return that badge to you. Look for me when you have given Zyon a taste of his own

medicine.”

“Are you kidding me?” With his teeth tightly clenched, Xavier kicked the bedside table as a

wave of frustration crashed into him.

Outside the room, Josiah was paying attention to the faintest stir in the room.

Hearing the noise from the room, he did not hesitate to rush inside.

“My goodness! Which leg did you kick it with?” He came in and saw the tumbled bedside

table on the floor. Hurriedly, he went up to check on him. “No way that you kicked it with

your injured leg.”

Xavier was clueless about how he lost control of his emotions a while ago. He merely felt

nonplussed at that time.

He touched his neck, feeling a tad pain.

After examining Xavier, Josiah was relieved to know that Xavier did not use his injured leg

just now. Subsequently, he wheeled him out of the room swiftly.

“What on earth are you guys trying to do? Can’t both of you talk amicably with each

other? Why did you make such a violent move?” Josiah asked after getting him out of the

room.

He touched his neck and said, “She bit me just now. How could I not be angry about it?”

“Let me see it.” Listening to that, Josiah pulled his hand away from his neck to examine.

“My gosh! There’s a bite mark on your neck! Let me disinfect the wound for you.”

Yulissa was quick to spike Xavier with the drug, and her bite mark covered the tiny needle

mark on his neck. Hence, Josiah failed to notice the injection mark on Xavier.

At that moment, the drug had already made its way into Xavier’s bloodstream, stimulating

all the nerves in his body.
