“Do you have a death wish?” Xavier went crazy under the influence of the venom. He wrapped his

hand around Olivia’s neck and pushed her against the doorframe.

As Xavier looked like a bloodthirsty beast right now, Olivia didn’t dare to breathe as the man tightened

his grip around her fragile neck.

On the other hand, Winnie knocked her head when she fell to the ground. Slowly, she started to regain

consciousness.

Nonetheless, the only thing she could do now was open her eyes as she could not move due to the

numbness she felt all over her body. It was evident that this was the result of the stun gun attack.

Even though she had failed to open her eyes before, she was able to listen to everything around her.

With that, Winnie knew what had happened. She also realized that Xavier had turned into the man he

was right now because of the venom.

If Xavier didn’t lose control, he wouldn’t be trying to kill the old woman. She looks like she is running out

of breath!

“Xa… Xavier…” Winnie muttered. Her tongue was numb, and she could not articulate her words

clearly.

Nevertheless, Winnie was determined to stop Xavier from ending Olivia’s life. While trying to bite her

tongue so she could jog her nerves and regain control of her body, the security guard on the floor

suddenly woke up and rushed toward Xavier. The reason why the security guard awakened so quickly

was that he was pretty fit.

The security guard quickly ran over to stop him when he saw Xavier trying to end other people’s lives.

But then again, even though the security guard was muscular and robust, he was no match for Xavier,

who had lost control of himself.

The security guard had initially wanted to pull Xavier away so he could save Olivia. However, not only

did he not succeed in pulling Xavier away, but he was also pushed to the ground after Xavier slapped

him.

Meanwhile, Xavier became more riled up and violent after seeing the security guard’s blood on his

hand. He walked to the security guard and began kicking and beating the latter.

Unable to defend himself, the security guard could only curl himself up, protecting his head.

Winnie couldn’t help but feel anxious when she witnessed this scene.

If Xavier continues hitting the security guard, he will die. What did he do wrong to deserve this? He is

She struggled to stand up before walking over to Xavier and shouting his name.

“Xavier! Stop what you are doing! Xavier!” When Winnie shouted Xavier’s name, she clearly saw that

Xavier had stopped kicking the person before him. He then turned and looked in her direction.

The woman was shocked when she locked gazes with Xavier. Previously, when she was lying on the

ground, Winnie could only see Xavier’s back. Now that she saw his eyes, the usually calm and relaxed

Winnie couldn’t help but panic. After all, Xavier’s eyes were terrifyingly bloodshot.

Even so, Winnie extended her arms toward the horrendous-looking Xavier. “Xavier! Please don’t kick

him anymore. Come over here, okay? I’ll bring you to Josiah. I’ll call him now, okay?” Winnie comforted

Xavier as she took out her phone and sent their location to Josiah.

Xavier remained silent. He breathed heavily as he stood in place. The man stared at Winnie before

snarling. He turned his attention toward the security guard and started kicking him again.

He looks like a beast now.

Winnie mused as her heart sank. Without hesitation, Winnie ignored Josiah’s call as she hurried over to

hug Xavier from behind.

She wrapped her arms around Xavier’s body as she leaned her head against his back. Winnie

pleaded, “Xavier, please regain consciousness! Please wake up!”

Xavier continued kicking the person on the floor like he didn’t realize someone was hugging him.

The danger became a reality when he felt the arms around him.

Xavier twisted Winnie’s arm. Winnie’s arm would be broken if he exerted even a bit more force.

Winnie tried to withstand the pain she felt as sweat began to roll down her forehead. She looked at

Xavier with pity, regret, and a flicker of heartache that went undetected by herself. “You don’t remember

me anymore? I’m Winnie. You always call me Dumbo.”

Tears appeared in Winnie’s eyes when she noticed that Xavier remained unresponsive. “Handsome,

I’m Winnie. Do you not recognize me anymore?”

Her words sent a flicker of recognition in Xavier. Like a clear stream, it cleansed the mess in Xavier’s

mind.

Without realizing it, Xavier loosened the grip he had on Winnie. He frowned before asking in a hoarse

voice, “Who… Who did you say I am?”

“You are Handsome! You are Xavier Fairchild. I’m Dumbo—Winnie Garland. We are married. You

remember me, right?”

“Dumbo…” Xavier repeated the familiar and intimate name. His mind slowly cleared as he regained

clarity. “I… I remember now. You are my Dumbo!” Xavier bent down and pulled Winnie into his

embrace.

He closed his eyes as he inhaled Winnie’s faint scent while Winnie breathed a sigh of relief in his

embrace.

Luckily, I got him back. Luckily, he regained his clarity!

Meanwhile, Yulissa found the scene before her annoying and an eyesore.

If it weren’t for the fact that we are enemies, I would have clapped for them! Wow. A man on the verge

of going crazy has been pulled back to reality by his love. This is so great and touching, but it’s not my

cup of tea! I’m going to destroy every single one of them!

Without sparing another glance at the couple, Yulissa grabbed a dozen syringes from the briefcase

beside her and rushed over to Winnie like a madwoman.

As Winnie had her back facing Yulissa, Yulissa wanted to inject all of the poison into her.

Yulissa closed the gap of a dozen steps between her and Winnie quickly. Within seconds, she had

already come to a stop behind Winnie.

However, just as the syringes were about to touch Winnie’s back, Xavier suddenly grabbed Winnie and

turned around.

With that, both of them switched places.

Those needles originally meant for Winnie were injected into Xavier’s body.

Yulissa didn’t expect Xavier would sacrifice himself to protect Winnie. With jealousy and hatred welling

up inside her, Yulissa sneered, “Hah. What a lovey-dovey couple. Very well!”

Longing a release from her negative emotions, Yulissa pumped all of the liquid into Xavier’s body. Still

feeling anger, Yulissa even used the needles to stab Xavier repeatedly.

“I want to destroy you. I want to destroy all of you. Go to h*ll!”
