Kylie was wearing Winnie’s clothes and using her makeup, but she treated the latter like

dirt. Winnie quietly watched her as she spent a few hours dolling herself up and

decorating the bedroom. When Kylie was almost done, Winnie innocently said, “Oh, Kiki,

Winnie remembers something! Handsome hasn’t been home for many nights, and he

won’t be coming home tonight too!” “What? Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Kylie was not

used to doing housework, so changing the bedsheets and tidying up the bedroom were

exhausting for her. She wanted to beat Winnie up for the belated notice, as she wouldn’t

have wasted all those efforts if she had known earlier that Xavier was not going to be

home that night. “Do you know you’ve wasted all my efforts in putting on this nice

makeup? What am I going to do now?” “Why don’t we go look for Handsome?” “Easier

said than done! Will he let a dumb*ss like you into Fairchild Corporation? He’s staying

away from home because he despises you!” Kylie was still upset at being stopped by the

security at Fairchild Corporation when she attempted to enter the building. However, what

happened next added fuel to the fire. Winnie made a call to Xavier and whined, “Hello,

Handsome. Can Winnie come to your office and play with you? Winnie is bored at home!”

After a short pause, Kylie could hear her say, “Okay then! See you later, Handsome!

Winnie will bring nice sweets for you!” “What? That’s it? Xavier agreed to meet you in his

office?” Kylie was stunned at how easy it was for Winnie to secure a meet-up with Xavier.

She spent three days trying to get an opportunity to meet him but to no avail. Yet, her

dumb sister managed to do that in less than a minute! Kylie looked at the windows in the

bedroom, and suddenly, the evil thought of throwing Winnie out of the window arose in

her mind. Even if she doesn’t fall to her death, she’d at least become crippled! Although

she did not put it into action, Kylie’s menacing expression did not escape Winnie’s

attention. After composing herself, Kylie was up to no good again and began to sweet-talk

Winnie, “Winnie, I heard you said you wanted to bring sweets for Xavier. Other than that,

should we bring something else for him? What else does he like? Does he like juice?” “Yes,

he does!” Winnie smiled innocently and said. Kylie immediately sent the housekeeper

away and personally prepared a glass of fresh orange juice. Winnie was monitoring her

secretly and saw her adding a white pill to the juice. No wonder she’s so confident she’ll

get Xavier to bed tonight! She came prepared! She must have learned that from her

Xavier advance notice, when she and Kylie arrived at Fairchild Corporation, someone was

there to receive them. It was Kylie’s first visit to Fairchild Corporation. Before that, she

thought Garland Group had one of the grandest offices. After she entered Fairchild

Corporation’s office building, she realized what an upmarket and sophisticated business

entity should really look like. Garland Group and Fairchild Corporation were definitely not

of the same league. Looking at the classy office building, Kylie made up her mind that she

would someday become the mistress of Fairchild Corporation! The secretary led Winnie

and Kylie to Xavier’s office so they could wait for him while he was in a meeting. Winnie

took a look at the time and realized it was already five in the afternoon. Her meeting with

Asiatic was at seven in the evening, so she needed to head out and start her preparation

for the meeting. The housekeepers at Lagune Mansion watched over her closely when she

was home, but at Fairchild Corporation, no one was monitoring her. As such, she excused

herself to use the restroom and slipped away from Xavier’s office. The car that she had

hired was already waiting for her at the underground car park of Fairchild Corporation.

Everything she needed was also already placed in the car, as she had asked for. It was

seven in the evening, and the sky was getting dark. A bar named “Tonight” had opened its

door to welcome its first customer. There was a special event at the bar that day. The boss

had made an announcement three days ago that it would be organizing a masquerade

party that night. Only customers wearing a masquerade mask would be allowed entry into

the bar that night. Needless to say, Winnie was the one behind that. She had no intention

of revealing her identity as Gator, so she couldn’t just blatantly walk into the bar. She was

also wary of being captured on camera. Wearing a plain-looking beaded black dress and a

tired-looking rental mask, she did not even bother to do her hair as she wanted to keep a

low profile. Her entire outfit cost her less than five hundred dollars. However, when she

walked into the bar, she still made heads turn. All the guests were somehow attracted to

her. She managed to make the cheap dress look classy. In fact, she was glowing with

radiance in that black little dress. Her flowy luxuriant dark hair earned her the envy of all

the ladies present. Although half of her face was hidden by the mask, she still managed to

captivate everyone. Within a minute of her arrival, a few men had already crowded around

her, wanting to buy her a drink. There were even some women trying to hit on her.

However, Winnie ignored them and calmly tried to get away. It took her more than ten

minutes to get to the private room at the other end of the bar. When she entered the

private room, the person in charge of Asiatic was already there. The lighting in the private

room was dim, but Winnie could clearly see that the man was in a wheelchair. Oh, he’s

physically challenged! Winnie was taken by surprise. She took a look at him and gauged

he would be more than six feet tall if he was able to stand up. “Are you Ms. Gator? You’re

late.” The man’s mask was covering the lower half of his face, and he spoke with a funny

voice. Winnie was positive he was using a voice modulator. Hahaha! This is interesting!

Looks like he has a secret identity too! Winnie was also using a voice modulator. “My

apologies. There was a small commotion outside just now, so I was held back for a while.

How should I address you, sir?” she asked. “I’m Hall,” Xavier said as he scrutinized Gator.

He had not expected Gator to be a young lady, and he suspected she was an Aplothian.

Although he thought she looked familiar, he couldn’t quite figure out who she resembled

at that moment. “Hi, Mr. Hall. I’m sure Nathaniel has spoken to you and shared with you

that our target is Garland Group,” Winnie sat down opposite Xavier and said. Xavier was

looking at her small plump lips when the image of Winnie suddenly flashed across his

mind. On second look, he decided there was no resemblance at all. Winnie had naturally

pinkish and moist-looking lips, whereas Gator’s lips were thick with lipstick. There was also

a small mole below Gator’s lower lip, which wasn’t present on Winnie’s face. Xavier

thought Winnie looked much more beautiful compared to Gator. “To be honest, Garland

Group isn’t that attractive to me. I was just curious why the famous Gator would want to

go after the puny Garland Group,” Xavier said. “I hope you have a good reason for that.

Otherwise, I’m afraid I’ll have to say no to your proposal,” he added.
