Reon was left alone in the room. She had nothing to do so she casually looked around the room. The opened treasure box caught her attention.
Reon stared at the box for a few seconds. She heard the loud screams of goblins and the sound of limbs falling to the ground.
After a few more seconds, Reon walked up to the box. She examined the treasure box from outside before she squatted down in front of it.
The green mist had got Reon super curious. To check what it was, she pulled her hand to touch the mist. As soon as her hand went past through the mist, her health went down.
"Oh." she realized what the green mist was there for.
Reon leaned a little forward and peeked into the treasure box. She saw the same image of the key Hitori had shown her.
Unconsciously, Reon tried to touch the key that sat in the green mist. Again, her health went down but that did not stop her.
Her hand slowly went inside the box. The green mist around the box started to flicker and circle around Reon.
"Ouch." she snapped out of her daze by the pain and looked around her. Her mouth dropped open in fear.
The green mist had covered Reon completely, it left no space for her to escape.
"Uh." Reon silently got up and took a step back.
Right at that time, the mist ganged up on Reon and started to hurt her. Her health went down and she even felt the pain.
Reon stumbled across the floor but did not fall. She took a few steps forward, gained her balance, and closed the treasure box's lid quickly.
The green mist disappeared with it. Reon panted with her hands on the box, "what the…" she sighed and took out a potion to refill her health bar.

Reon realized that the screams from the other side had vanished. No goblin screamed, no sound of limbs falling to the floor, total silence.
"Ah-" Kamiya and Hitori might step into the darkroom anytime.
Reon took a few steps back, moved towards the drawer, and landed a hard kick to slide the drawer back into the treasure box.
Clang!
The wooden crashed with each other. The metal latch unlocked and sprung open the box's lid. Again, green mist glowed in the room.

Reon quickly discarded those messages and tried to look as normal as possible.
"Ah crap, I can not believe I let go of such valuable loot."
"Oh, do not sweat about it." she heard Kamiya's voice.
"But if I had checked on my previous try, we would have had four level-up cards!" Hitori told.
From the entrance, two guys stepped inside the second room and talked about some cards.
"Ah, yes, we did." Hitori turned to Reon.
They both walked to Reon. Hitori had a big crown full of jewels in his hand while Kamiya had two metallic cards in his hand.
"We have got some gold… a lot actually which we will divide into three equal parts. A crown, we will probably have to sell it before we can divide it. And two of these level boost cards." Kamiya held the two cards in front of him.
"And the card does what?"
"It will triple our experience gain for one whole day," Hitori replied.
"Yeah so, Hitori you take one, Reon-san, you take another." Kamiya handed them their cards, "I barely engage in combat so I would not gain a lot of experience to double or triple it,"
They accepted their cards and stared at them for a while. They both did not use the cards and put them into their inventory.
"Anyway," Reon broke the silence, "I am just happy that it was a big fat misunderstanding,"
"It was never a misunderstanding, you created one yourself," Hitori replied coldly and shook his head.
"But still, Hitori-san," she looked up at Hitori, "you better explain your plans to us before you execute them," she smiled, "you know, before it creates misunderstanding,"
Hitori glanced at her and smiled, "A real man never explains."
"Guys…" Kamiya interrupted them.
Reon and Hitori turned their heads at Kamiya. He held his finger straight ahead, they followed his direction.
A few sparks lit in front of the wall near the treasure box. The trio watched as a portal unwounded in front of them.
"Are you doing this?" Kamiya asked. Hitori did not reply, he walked straight and entered the portal.
That left both with no choice but to follow him.
[you have entered the fourth floor]
"Guys, are we going to do this though?" Kamiya asked as soon as he stepped through the portal, "we are on the enemy's turf!"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"I agree…" Reon chimed in, "it would be stupid to advance."
Hitori stopped a few feet away from them. He turned around and walked a few yards, "so let us be stupid." He whispered.
"Oh, Hitori!"
"Tch, look, Kamiya." Hitori grabbed his shoulder, "Kuzu wants us to conquer this dungeon for some reason. I believe the consequences of this reason will be harsh on us but-"
"Exactly! It is his dungeon!" Kamiya said.
"No, actually it is not his dungeon,"
"Huh?"
"Hah?" his reply left everyone stunned for a moment.
"Then?"
"What do you mean?"
"It belongs to… uh…" Hitori tried to recall the name, "yeah! It belongs to some Emperor Ono–"
Before Hitori could complete his sentence, bolts of electricity descended from the sky.
A few bolts fell on the ground. Hitori and Kamiya covered their heads once again and turned around to protect Reon.
Reon lowered her head when another series of bolts fell on the ground, she covered her head with her hands.
Buzz!
Unfortunately, a bolt fell on Reon.
The hit knocked out Reon and of course, she lost a great deal of her health.
Kamiya leaned down and increased the width of his shield to cover both of them under it.
