Elliot didn’t bother to hide his position.
But he did blink away from the hubbub of the base to approach the incoming group of warriors that he sensed.
That way, the fight would not affect his sisters and the rest of the survivors.
“Hmmm. Five Emperors and a trio of Hegemons. They are too strong to be scouts, even in this dangerous event.” Elliot analyzed calmly. “They must be an advance force of a big group, or even the main force of a small group. No matter, I will clean them up quickly. They are worth three hundred and five points after all.”
Elliot chuckled to himself lightly.
He was very aware of his outrageously lofty thoughts when thinking about extremely powerful fighters like Emperors and Hegemons.
If other organizations, especially the organization involved, could hear his thoughts, they would probably vomit blood in anger.
“You want to “quickly clean up” five of my Emperors and three of my HEGEMONS which we had spent countless resource planets to nurture? Just to get three hundred and five points?”
Splat. Blood vomited.
“You, a mere King, want to kill five Emperors and three Hegemons? Hahahahahaha!”

But whatever their reaction, the fact remains that Elliot was standing calmly a few meters above the ground, sword drawn, his right arm fully transformed into a dragon claw, and a murderous aura billowing out of him in copious amounts.
Before him were three hundred and five points, and he was very determined to get them.
Upon sensing his presence, the eight warriors stopped very suddenly and entered a defensive formation.
They cautiously approached Elliot while scanning their surroundings with all sorts of gadgets in addition to their own senses.
“I am alone.” Elliot laughed at their obvious wariness at the strange situation and folded his arms as he waited for them to finish scanning their surrroundings.
They were so scared of an ambush that they even sent two Emperors to the left and right to continue scanning for enemies!
“You must be Elliot. Amused at how cautious we are?” A Hegemon finally spoke up.
She was a gorgeous looking middle aged woman with perfect almond-shaped eyes, high cheekbones, very kissable lips and a luscious chest that strained against the fabric of her pure white dress very noticeably.
“Amused by your cowardice.” Elliot corrected her with a smile. “I am but a lowly King level fighter. Why so afraid?”
The Hegemon merely smiled back.
“It is precisely because you are a “King” level fighter that we have to be so cautious. I have never met a “King” level fighter that could out-detect us. And instead of running away, you chose to stand your ground instead? Sorry, but I would be a fool to assume that you’re a mere King.
And yes, I have lost count of how many people called us that over the years. A thousand? Ten thousand? They didn’t think that Hegemons should stoop so low to the point of avoiding all fights except for those that are clearly in our favor to win.
Spineless. Cowards. Shameless. I can’t remember all the colourful names they used to describe us.
No matter. They are all dead. We are still alive.” She said in a conversational voice.
“A coward AND a talker.” Elliot sighed. “What a miserable combination.”
Elliot didn’t bother holding back the derision in his voice. They would probably end up in a life and death battle within moments anyway. Who cares about what they felt?
All three Hegemons chuckled. Apparently they were completely at peace with their methods.
The second Hegemon was dressed entirely in black, and had a black mask covering his face. He had a pitch black aura that reeked of damp soil full of decomposing compost.
The third Hegemon was dressed similarly to the second, but she was dressed in yellow instead. Her aura was very strange. It felt leafy but hot at the same time.
In his mind, Elliot had already named them White, Black and Yellow.
The other Emperors… were not worth his attention.

For a King to be able to treat Emperors that way, Elliot must be the only one in the known universe!
After all, the gap between King and Emperor level was notoriously huge.
At that moment, the two Emperors returned and gave them a thumbs up.
“Hoooo. You truly are alone. Well, let’s see what tricks you have hidden that give you such confidence when facing against five Emperors and three Hegemons.” White said and signalled for the others to take their places.
Immediately, they circled Elliot and drew their weapons.
Elliot raised his eyebrow.
“Going all out against one person? You guys truly are shameless.”
“The lion uses his full strength even when hunting a rabbit. Plus, it’s your lucky day. We have instructions to take you alive. I don’t usually leave those who have insulted me alive for very long.” White smiled a radiant smile at Elliot. “Would you like to make things easier on yourself and surrender? That way, I’ll just take one limb as payment for your words instead of two.”
“Good philosophy. I fully agree with you. However, my full strength isn’t suited for such small battles. I hope you forgive me for not reciprocating your kind intentions.” Elliot said while ignoring the last part of her words.
White’s mouth twitched slightly.
“Have you guys decided which ones you want to handle? If you have, come on out and take them.” Elliot called out loudly.
“Not fair, Master. I always get the weak ones.” Ellie complained in the public mindspace as five portals opened up around Elliot. She glared at her chosen target rather mournfully, a small little dwarf with a hammer that was twice his size.
