As with most developing emergencies, things never really happened as predicted, even by the wisest and most conservative analysts.
After Ancient Mayat’s very public death, the entire known universe was thrown into absolute chaos that was hitherto unseen by any living being.
A King had killed an Ancient.
None of the Primals had any more reason to put off their involvement in Elliot’s curious but also increasingly alarming case.
And when Primals make their moves, especially in numbers such as these, much of the power structure of the known universe was destined to be overhauled.
Timelines for countless plans and targets were pushed forward again and again and again, while contingencies were put in motion across every single power, organization and sector as the entire universe went into emergency mode.
Every single one of them could hear the drums of war start their rhythmic beats.
Whether they liked it or not, whether they were ready or not, war was upon them.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAs beings whose every energy exertion brought ripples to the strings of fate, Primals had an unspoken agreement to minimize their moves as much as possible, so as to allow the lesser beings of the known universe to have relatively peaceful lives and “take their fate into their own hands”.
For every single Primal to make a move at the same time and towards the same location bore testament to just how deeply embroiled the Gaming Commission was within the increasingly tumultuous future of the known universe.
In any other location, the ripples of fate caused by so many Primals appearing together would have caused the fate of every lesser being and even the physical location there to be massively altered.
For good or for bad, depending on what the Primals did there, the lives of all life forms in that location will never be the same again.
But for the Gaming Commission at that moment, its strings of fate merely trembled massively at the arrival of nearly a hundred Primals.
It did not shift even a tiny inch.
Although the Primals had expected it, seeing that their collective appearance weren’t impactful enough to cause the Gaming Commission’s fate to be shifted even in the slightest caused a very nostalgic feeling which they hadn’t felt in thousands of years to surface within all their hearts.
Insignificance.
Some grumbled lightly, some chuckled in amusement, while some others frowned.
However, all of them had one reaction in common. And that was to revise upwards, once again, their impression of Chairman El’Taras.
The young Elven Mage who took the known universe by storm by creating the Gaming Commission and its controversial Games.
“How long has it been since such a gathering took place? To think that we are here once again, and on our own volition.” An aged old man with pockmarks on his face dressed very simply in clean white robes sighed deeply to his companion, and small, regular sized blue wolf who was walking next to him.
“We didn’t even gather this way during the Dark Cosmic Invasion.” The blue wolf said with a chuckle. “Your Void Walkers did a good job, by the way, in driving off those Blood Darks.
“They merely contributed to a group effort, something, if I remember correctly, your Beast Masters also actively participated in.” The genial old man said modestly.
“Stop licking each other’s butts, you old fogeys.” A beautiful woman with angelic wings appeared next to them both and said with a very pleasing laugh which completely took the edge off her words.
“Madam Liu.” The old man greeted her with a happy smile. “It has been a while. Have you considered my marriage proposal?”
“Old Wabetto, I wouldn’t marry you even if it’s the last thing I do, even under pain of a horrible death.” Madam Liu replied sweetly.
“Sigh, what a waste. You do know that we are a perfect match, right? Our children would be immensely powerful.” Old Wabetto shook his old head ruefully.

“Lightning Asura. As always, I am very happy to see you.” Madam Liu’s smile grew wide at Lightning Asura’s simple yet sincere words.
Even at the Primal level, a female was still a female! Praising their looks sincerely was the best, fastest and most efficient way to get into their good books.
“Ah, the Three Idiots have gathered once more. How cute. Any plans to set more planets on fire this time, Madam Liu?” Another drop dead beauty no less mesmerizing suddenly appeared next to them.
Her appearance caused the strings of fate to shake incredibly hard, a clear indication of her overwhelming power even among Primals.
Madam Liu merely laughed at her words though, and retorted back instantly.
“Oh maybe. Would you like to engage my planet burning services, Theodora? You could really do with it, considering how many of your planets had become mass graveyards due to their denizens overbreeding like hamsters and eating all of its resources dry before they learnt space travel. I wonder why they’re so incorrigibly horny? They must take after their creator a little bit.”
Theodora’s face fell at the mention of her mass-grave planets, the result of her forgetting about them for a few hundred years while she was off dealing with other more interesting stuff.
“Hmph.” She gave Madam Liu a final glare before quickly joining a different group of Primals with whom she had better relations.
“Don’t antagonize her too much.” Old Wabetto chuckled lightly. “Unlike us, she is still very young, and her power grows daily. She is destined to be a leader of our little pack.”
At that moment, however, before Madam Liu could reply Old Wabetto, the most violent shaking of the strings of fate thus far occurred and very nearly caused the fate of the Gaming Commission to shift!
However, just before the shift took place, the shaking stopped.
Every single head swiveled and turned towards the newcomer.
