Eisen really wanted this town to advance as quickly as possible, although that would only be really possible as long as the Guild advanced to the next Rank. That, on the other hand, required more people to join the Guild. Size wasn’t the only factor that played a role in ranking a Guild up, but it was definitely an important part of it.
So, taking that into account, Eisen was sure that they should start trying to get more people into the Guild, maybe through some of those streams that Stahl and Alnico also started recently. Or they could of course just go slow with everything and just let everything process slowly, but that seemed like a subpar decision in this situation. After all, they couldn’t just sit idly around while Merc, Cial, and Antonio were up to something.
Either way, as soon as they entered the actual town, a certain Elf-Inspired Core Guardian appeared in front of the carriage, one arm behind his back the other in front of his chest as he bowed down.
"Welcome back. We were expecting you." Serio exclaimed with a bright smile on his face, before Eisen nodded his head and chuckled.
"Nice to see you too, Serio. Now then, how’s the situation at the moment?" Eisen asked with a smile. He did check into the situation of town as according to the Town Menu, but it was always different seeing the rough data in numerals than it was seeing the actual town.
But to Eisen’s delight, it seemed like town was doing really well for itself, and the First Generation Guardians that Eisen repaired were trying their best to properly teach the monsters a few different things that were necessary for them to know if they wanted to live in a town like this.
Apparently, a few of the younger monsters already evolved to become even more humanoid than normal, basically just meaning that their hands and legs were slightly more human-like, and they were also showing pretty high intelligence just as a basis.
With a smile on his face, Eisen crossed his arms and continued to practice his mana-manipulation in the background while taking a proper look at town.
"Alright... So, part of town is a large area meant for fields, right? We’re stopping by the Castle first to get some things over with, but after that it would be great if you could show me that area for a while." Eisen pointed out, before Serio immediately nodded his head.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Of course, I will make sure everything is properly prepared for you there. Is there anything you want to do specifically?" The Core Guardian asked, and his creator swiftly nodded his head in response to that very obvious question.
"Ah, yes, I would like to use this chance to level my Farming skill up. It’s part of my level-up quest, so I need to bring it to Rank 3 as soon as I can." The old man pointed out, before Serio nodded his head immediately in response.
"I see, you and Stahl sure are alike, are you not?" He asked, before Eisen raised his eyebrows surprised, "Oh? Did he also go to the fields for that same reason?" The old man inquired, and the Core Guardian immediately nodded his head.
"Quite soon after they came here even, yes. He is just doing so on a relatively small plot, however, so you should have more than enough space to work yourself to the bone." Serio explained, so Eisen swiftly nodded his head with a satisfied smile.
"Perfect. Sounds like my Grandson, alright." The old man laughed loudly, and soon enough, the castle was directly in front of the group. Eisen stopped the carriage in the front and let Cabarum and Aulu loose for a little while, before the old man chose to soon step into the castle.
Although just before he could finish that, he heard a loud sound in the distance behind him, which he figured could only come from one person.
And to his pleasant surprise, it truly did turn out to be Alnico, just as he had expected. She currently had he DJ set up and running, and was on her way over toward Eisen. Although, there seemed to be something else going on at the moment as well.
The DJ set was certainly active, Eisen recognized everything that he made instantly, after all, but there were some parts to what was currently there that Eisen himself didn’t make. But with his mana-sight, Eisen could swiftly confirm that it truly was exactly what he thought it was, Alnico’s element.
It seemed like she was making this much noise on purpose, just to get Eisen’s attention, and it obviously worked just like a treat. Soon, the old man had his Granddaughter standing in front of him again.
"Grampa, I haven’t told you yet after I actually got to try this in action, but this is such an insanely awesome item!" She exclaimed immediately while moving the different notification-like displays to the side so that she could properly look at Eisen, who slowly nodded his head with a grin.
"That was the plan, hahaha. Seems like you added a lot of different setting to the menus, huh?" Eisen asked with a smile on his face, getting a simple bright smirk and a nod from Alnico. "Hehe, yup! And also, my element works amazingly with this! I just got it a few days ago, and it’s called ’Remix’! It seems like it was made to work with this kind of item, as well, because what I can do with it is basically enhance the effect that my real-time remixing has on the environment! If I make the speakers spread the mana around with the sounds as well, I can even temporarily jumble things in the area around! It stops when the track’s over, but until then, I can basically control everything within the direct range of my music!" Alnico exclaimed, letting Eisen only raise his eyebrows surprised.
"Huh? Isn’t that kind of a super strong element?" The old man asked as he turned over toward Xenia, and she just nodded her head in response. "It is... if you can actually change the physical environment around, then it’s basically a high-tier spatial-magic derivative, isn’t it?" The High-Elf muttered quietly, seemingly more than just curious about what was going on, and Alnico just smiled brightly in response.
"Well, it’s super amazing, so~!" She pointed out, before Eisen simply chuckled and placed his hand on the top of her head with a bright smile on his face.
"I’m glad you like it. Where are the others right now?" The old man asked, before Alnico scratched her cheek in thought. "Stahl’s in the fields, and Samurai and Zyra are... ’streaming’." Alnico said, deliberately whispering the last word so that only Eisen could hear, because there were NPCs around, and then swiftly continued. "And Kyla’s spending some time in the garden right now." Alnico explained, so Eisen nodded his head in response.
"Alright then, thanks. We’ll head off to the Guild room for now, but afterward I’ll be going to the fields were Stahl is at the moment as well." Eisen pointed out, before Alnico quickly nodded before the five Originals swiftly made their way through the Castle, right toward the bottom of the tower where they went last time.
"That’s a really awesome element... Don’t we all have kind of boring ones compared to that?" Jyuuk asked with a slight frown, and Eisen simply sighed while the beastperson’s girlfriend glared at him with her side-eye.
"Says the guy that can speed up or slow down any biological procress, standing next to the woman that can change her and others’ appearances completely while painting the walls of a room to be indistinguishable from the outside. By the way, what about our Demon-Orc friend here, whose Element literally isn’t an element but a completely different type of energy compared to mana. Of course, your girlfriend’s ability to see basically every type of spirit there is, even those that don’t even exist yet inside of people’s bodies, and then make contracts with them, and my element allowing me to create nearly every type of variation of dirt and rock while heating the area up to the point where even metals melt down, which literally gave me the chance to turn into a Demon, are somewhat boring compared to that." Eisen pointed out, before Jyuuk sighed in response, seemingly somewhat embarrassed about it now, something that Eisen couldn’t help but chuckle at.
"Don’t worry, you’re good. It’s something very different to what we’ve been using until now, it makes sense that you’re interested in it, really." The old man laughed as the group reached the spot where the platform would rise into the air, before Serio tapped the floor in the same pattern and rhythm as last time, causing the platform to slowly rise into the air.
And the moment that he could see the room at the top, he also noticed a quite pleasant smell from there, which Eisen quickly recognized as he looked at the guild-table.
"Now then, what a nice surprise." The old man said with a slight laugh, noticing that Ruth was standing in front of the table, slightly twitching around, before smiling happily. "I pr-pr-pr-prepared your usu-su-suals!" She exclaimed happily, and Eisen nodded his head in response and made his way over toward his chair and sat down inside of it with a smile, looking at the large cup in front of him which was just perfect for his current size and scale.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWith a quick whiff, Eisen confirmed it to be a nice, giant cup of aromatic, hot black coffee. "How did you get this here..?" The old man asked, and Ruth just smiled at the old man happily.
"Hehe, the co-co-coffee and tea cabi-bi-bi-binet was one of the few things tha-tha-that were still in peak-conditon!" Ruth exclaimed smugly, making Eisen just smile more.
"I see, I see. Thank you, then, Ruth." The old man said, before he leaned back in his chair, taking a sip of his coffee as the others sat down on their chairs with surprised expressions as they looked at the cups and their contents in front of them, seemingly quite happy to see what they were given.
"Okay, what is it that you wanted us to speak about?" Jyuuk asked as he sipped his tea, and Eisen just slightly smiled, before trying to confirm something before moving the conversation somewhere else.
"First of all, let’s try and speak about something else that came up recently. The little thing that Kai mentioned." Eisen said with a smirk, looking at Jyuuk and Xenia as he was doing so, making the two of them look at each other embarrassedly.
"Sh-She was just joking around! Right?" Xenia suggested with her face completely dyed red, before Jyuuk immediately nodded his head. "Right! Definitely, there’s no way... Or... is there?" The Beastperson asked, slowly staring at the High-Elf next to him, before turning away while scratching his cheek.
"I mean, I guess it’s not impossible, right?" Jyuuk admitted, making Xenia’s face flush in a deep red color even more, before Eisen simply laughed a little, looking over at Serio and Ruth, who were both pretty confused.
"So, were Jyuuk and Xenia married?" The old man asked them quite clearly, and without hesitation, the two of them nodded their heads.
"Of course they were! They were the prime example of love! Well, the prime example of a great marriage, rather. Brody was always the Prime example to show pure and completely love." Serio pointed out with a slight chuckle, before the Demon-Orc in question stared at them confused.
"Eh, the hell’re you talking about? Who was I with here?" He asked, rather angrily at the mere idea of having cheated on his wife, but it seemed like that wasn’t exactly what the Core Guardian was trying to say. Eisen kind of knew what Serio was trying to say, considering that he wasn’t the first to have mentioned it.
"Oh, it’s quite the opposite. As far as my knowledge goes, throughout the tens of thousands of years you were alive, you have never been in any sort of relationship, always staying true to the one love that you lost, your Wife from the ’other side’."
