There was tension between the three women after what had happened.
However, Beatrice had regained her senses and Kyle didn't sense anything wrong with the blood pact.
Thus, he chose to ignore the incident that happened, or he tried to, at the very least.
Now that they had reunited, it was time to leave the Lahin kingdom. But this was easier said than done.
"Jaden, do you have an idea how we can leave the kingdom without anyone being able to follow our trails?" Kyle simply asked.
He could think of a few ways but all of them required them to fly through the air. They might have the Wings of Ilusia movement technique now. However, until they would be able to learn to manifest their elemental wings a few weeks, or even months would have to pass.
Jaden didn't even have an affinity, to begin with.
That was also why Kyle hoped Jaden to have an idea about what they were supposed to do.
"Instead of hiding all trials, how about we fabricate our trails? I have no idea where you want to go, but if we make it look like we return to Princess Yasmine's family, it will be easier to move in the direction we want once we left the Lahin kingdom.'
The Anadra kingdom was not exactly far away from its current position. Nonetheless, it would take them a few weeks if they were to travel by foot.
This was not something Kyle wanted to do, but Jaden told them that it would be better to force-tame some beasts later.
'Force-tame' was a term used to temporarily tame a beast that was weaker than oneself. As long as it wanted to stay alive, it would obey the master until its task was to be completed.
It was something rather simple, yet also quite difficult.
After all, many beasts were simply too prideful to accept someone else as their master. Instead of allowing themselves to be suppressed and turned into harmless existences, they would rather commit suicide.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFurthermore, it was quite hard for Krysal stage beings to control forced-tamed beasts for a long period.
This was even more so the case if one wanted to force-tame a fast animal. 'If only this annoying horse would be with us…well it was not that annoying, but still.' Kyle just thought before shrugging his shoulder.
He looked at Arashi for a moment, wondering how long it would take his Spirit Soul to grow up enough to let all of them ride it.
Arashi had gained a new 'ability' not too long ago. It was able to switch between a combat form and a normal form, which he could use whenever he was not fighting.
The combat form was slightly larger than the normal form, which Kyle had named the pet form. In his opinion, the pet form would allow Arash to stay small forever, while the combat form was Arashi's actual size. This would explain a lot, but it was not helpful for the given situation either.
"In that case, what beasts have the most stamina, enough space to be ridden comfortably, and are not too slow?" Kyle had asked when Jaden had come up with the idea of leaving the capital and using the forced-tamed trick to prevent attracting too much attention in another city by buying tamed beasts or doing something else.
Kyle had an idea on how to force-tame beasts rather easily.
While the women had been tense, turning the group's atmosphere gloomy, Kyle had collected the souls of the Fishmen that had been killed before. This would make things much easier for him.
However, Jaden had no idea about Kyle's capabilities. Thus, he could only think that Kyle wanted to take the most suitable beast to force-tame it so that they would be able to leave as quickly as possible.
"Well, in our case, the Giganto Eagle would make the most sense. It's even an aerial beast, so we would be able to solve many more issues.
But they're too prideful and I've heard about many reports stating that it is impossible to tame even the newborn Giganto eagles, let alone force-tame fully matured Giganto Eagles for a short period of time." Jaden sighed after he said this, but Kyle was intrigued.
"And where can we find this Giganto Eagle? What stage is it?" He asked in interest.
It was obvious that Kyle's interest had been awoken. Jaden could only curse himself for having spoken about the Giganto Eagle.
But now that Kyle was interested, it was not as if Jaden could back off.
"The Giganto Eagles live a few hundred kilometers to the south of the capital. This kind of beast is only at the peak of the Vitae stage, and you guys will be able to kill it without too many issues. However, it won't submit to you, believe me." Jaden revealed honestly while trying to convince Kyle that it was a waste of time to go south.
He was still not sure why Kyle and the others had to flee, but the situation was evidently not something they could take lightly.
That was also why Jaden was tensed up and unable to take it easy.
"Calm down, as long as we can use force to give me some time with them everything will be fine!" Kyle said confidently before mumbling out loud.
"The south it is, then? That is almost exactly the opposite direction we actually want to travel. It's perfect to create a wrong trail…let's go to these Giganto Eagles then!!"
Kyle didn't even need to hear the other beasts Jaden wanted to tell him about. He wanted to share information about many suitable beasts that were hibernating in the surrounding area. Jaden was like a beast encyclopedia. He could tell you everything as long as it was about beasts within the Lahin kingdom.
This wouldn't be useful once they left the area but Jaden was the fastest at procuring more knowledge.
Unfortunately, Kyle didn't intend to make use of the knowledge Jaden had attained in the short time he had been at the Glory Knight academy.
"Go Girls, we need to head in the wrong direction!" Kyle said, before giving the three women a light push.
Beatrice was still a little bit excited from the earlier kiss and upon seeing that she kept looking at his lips and his hips as if she was trying to see through his pants, Yasmine and Selene felt like beating her up.
'Hahaha, I already saw his monster, before everyone else, at that!' Selene nearly shouted out, barely holding back from doing something stupid as she realized what exactly she had nearly said.
If the others were to hear her shout that out, not only Yasmine and Beatrice would feel secondhand embarrassment but even Kyle and more so Jaden would feel weirded out by Selene's comment.
Fortunately, she didn't say anything and merely pushed out her chest, acting pridefully.
On the other hand, Yasmine suddenly thought that she was caught in between two teenage girls, who were unable to suppress their emotions.
But upon thinking about it, Yasmine's mind didn't seem to help her a lot either. She saw Beatrice planting a kiss on Kyle's lip next to the lake, while the moonlight shone on her.
It was a beautiful sight, but this sight was exactly what irked Yasmine. She didn't have any great memories like that with Kyle, and upon thinking about it, Yasmine felt as if she would never make such memories with Kyle.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm'How can he be that unbothered after a beautiful woman kissed him? Beatrice is clearly trying to remove his clothes with her gaze, and she would jump on him the moment he was to accept her. Just what is wrong with Kyle? If he wants to, he could have all of us…is he impotent, was his little monster cut off, or is he actually not interested in us?!' Yasmine's mind was a mess.
Polygamy was actually nothing uncommon in the world of cultivators, in both ways at that. As long as someone was powerful, they could get whatever and whoever they wanted. That was why Yasmine was not exactly against the two women she had become good friends with.
Selene seemed to have some issues with sharing Kyle, but Beatrice was all in, whether they would join her or not.
The only problem was Kyle. He didn't seem to be interested in them in any possible way. That should be impossible but Yasmine could tell that Kyle's emotions and hormones were not in disarray, even after the kiss with Beatrice, and the fact that she stared at him with lust since then.
On the contrary, Kyle's mind was at ease and he could fully focus on following Jaden's guide to rush to the place where the Giganto Eagles were supposed to be habituating.
This was something Yasmine couldn't understand, at all. Kyle should have long since jumped on one of them, trying his luck, if one could even label it like this.
He had a wide choice of lovers to pick from, but his decision was against all the love in the world. Even if Yasmine wanted to reason it with Kyle's desire to become stronger before thinking about love, it made literally no sense.
She looked at him with fiery eyes trying to figure out the intentions behind Kyle's behavior. However, what Yasmine didn't know was that Kyle had simply accepted Beatrice's kiss as an aftermath of her 'berserk state'.
Beatrice had said that she didn't know why she entered this weird state, but what she knew was that Kyle's blood conserves hadn't quenched his thirst and that she had to slaughter the beasts in the surroundings to calm down.
However, this had backfired, which was why her blood armor had fully manifested. If Kyle hadn't returned earlier than initially planned, Beatrice would have become a monstrous existence, with unfathomable strength and not the slightest bit of sanity left behind.
She would have been a monster, merciless and powerful.
As for the reason why all of this happened, they would never find out. After all, they left the crime scene, the capital of the Lahin kingdom, forever, without the intention to look back ever again!
After a short trip to the south, they reached a small mountainside, where huge trees sprouted out of the ground.
They were connected with each other, which made it look like the entire mountainside was a single tree.
"We need to be careful. The moment Giganto Eagles notice foreign existences at a higher cultivation stage than they have, they'll try to fly away.
We need to find them before they can see us." Jaden said before he hide behind a bunch of bushes to cover his appearance.
"Well, I found a group of them" Kyle simply said, before pointing to a direction that was covered by a thicket of tree trunks, branches, bushes, and many more obstacles covering everyone's sight.
'Can he see through trees, walls, and other obstacles?!' Jaden began to wonder, his expression turning ugly. Kyle could only smile when he saw this before he ignored the poor Lohar, who was completely overwhelmed with everything that had happened in the last few hours.
'I should explain to him a bit about my abilities once we're safe. Even if I talk around the bush, he will find out the truth sooner or later, either way.' Kyle thought shrugging his shoulders, before preparing himself to attack the Giganto Eagles.
