Chapter 419
When Bailey pushed the door to her condominium open, there was only silence in the living room.
She went into her room and lay down on the bed.
As she looked up at the crystal chandelier above her head and smelled the familiar fragrance of mint
on the quilt, her mind was invaded by complicated thoughts. Frankly, I hate being pregnant. I absolutely
hate it. This reminds me of the experience I had when I was pregnant with Zayron and the rest seven
years ago. It was an awful experience. I was under so much pressure that I eventually got depressed.
Because of that, Victoria had to spend a fortune to get me a psychiatrist. That was what I had to do to
survive the pregnancy. Still, the experience was traumatic. Prior to this, I was fine. Now that I know I
might be pregnant, I'm starting to feel empty and unsafe. I can feel my anxiety coming back to haunt
me.
After staring into space for half an hour, she slowly regained her senses.
She pursed her lips and stared at her wrist. I'm Anonymous. I don't need a pregnancy test kit or an
ultrasound to find out if I'm pregnant. All I need to do is take my pulse.
However, she was afraid to find out if she was pregnant.
The moment she thought about the possibility of being pregnant and having to go through the horrible

Slowly, she took her pulse with her trembling fingers.
She smiled bitterly and shut her eyes.
The children were outside her bedroom door. They were pressing their ears against the door, but they
heard nothing inside. At that, they couldn't resist looking at each other.
“I think she's asleep,” Maxton uttered softly.
Zayron tugged his hair in frustration and said, “I wouldn't have messed around if I had known Bailey
wouldn't be happy with getting pregnant. I don't even mind being the youngest among us.”
Hearing that, Susan said, “This is all my fault. I was being unreasonable. Mommy is angry and sad
because of me.”
As she said that, tears started to flow down her cheeks.
“What the heck? Don't cry.” Zayron quickly wrapped his arms around her. “Everything has happened.
There's no use blaming yourself.”
Maxton blinked and suggested, “Should we call Vicky? We should ask her to keep Bay company.”
Zayron rolled his eyes. “Are you a fish? Why do you have a memory of a goldfish? Vicky's abroad.
She's abroad.”
Meanwhile, Artemis was leaning against a private mansion floor-to-ceiling window while being on a
phone call with Victoria.
“What? Bay could be pregnant?” Victoria yelled. “How could you get her pregnant? God! She might die
from it!”
Artemis' gaze turned cold, and his grip on the phone tightened. Something's wrong.
“What's going on? How could she die from a pregnancy? Did she have a bad experience or
something?” Artemis asked.
Victoria fell silent upon hearing his questions.
After a long while, she sighed and said, “I forgot about the fact that you weren't around when Bay got
pregnant seven years ago.”
Those sharp and hurting words were like knives stabbing into Artemis' heart. I regret what happened as
well. When she was pregnant with triplets, I wasn't by her side. She must've had a tough time.
“Tell me what happened to her.”
“She got pregnant before marriage, so her father chased her out of the house. To make matters worse,
she was insulted and mocked by others. At the same time, her granny got terribly sick, and it was life-
threatening. Because of the enormous pressure Bay had to endure, she eventually got depressed.
Back then, I found a psychiatrist to help her. It worked, and it helped her get through pregnancy.
However, Bay was traumatized.”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmArtemis squeezed his phone. I don't know any of this. If I had known...
Artemis smiled bitterly at that thought. I only found out about it when she was most probably pregnant.
Isn't it a bit too late now? Although those kids are at fault, I can't possibly blame them.
“It's my fault. I should've been thankful instead of getting her pregnant again. I-Is it possible for her to
get an abortion?” Artemis asked.
Victoria heaved a sigh and answered, “Give it some time. Who knows? Maybe Bay might come around.
She's the one with the child. If she doesn't agree to it, the abortion can't be done, can it?”
She then mulled over it and continued, “I still have the contact of the psychiatrist she saw back then.
Do you want it?”
“Yes. Please send it to me.”
“Sure.”
In a room at Sunny Resort, Juliana was watching the live broadcast of the race with Sebastian.
When Bailey held the microphone and told everyone she was Adhira, Juliana leaped to her feet in
shock. “What the f*ck? Master never told me she's actually Adhira! What? She's Adhira!”
Sebastian glanced at her and scoffed, “As if you know all her other identities. You don't know anything
else apart from her identity as Snowflake, right?”
Juliana slapped the back of his head and scolded, “You b*stard! I'm your aunt! Must you mock me?”
Sebastian leaped to his feet and looked out the window. With his brows furrowed, he said, “The
security measures have been tightened over the past two days. It's going to be harder for us to get out
of here.”
