Chapter 607 Claim Her Head
She probably could not keep the baby anymore.
In addition to getting heavily injured while she was struck with grief, the woman was in an especially dangerous
situation, as she also had a lot of pent-up emotions.
Lionel cut to the chase and said, “Only save the baby if it doesn't hurt the mother. Otherwise, you can give up on it.”
Silence was Bailey's only response.
At the headquarters of Tarragon, Yvette had spent two days probing around and was sure that Artemis had lost his
memories.
However, it was inappropriate to say that he had lost his memories since he could remember everything that
happened with everyone except Bailey.
They were in the study, and Yvette couldn't help but feel happy when she saw that Artemis had finished the soup
she had brought him.
He hadn't shown any signs of disgust toward her in the past few days, so she wondered if Artemis had fallen for her.
“All right, get back to your work, then. I'll head out now.”
Yvette deliberately tugged at her shirt as she turned to leave, causing a photo she had hidden in her sleeve to fall.
It was a photo of Bailey.
“You dropped something.”
Artemis' voice sounded from behind her.
She turned around instinctively and went to pick up the photo. However, a hand reached out and snatched it before

The man took a glance at the photo and asked flatly, “Is this your friend?”
Yvette felt utterly relieved when she heard his question.
It seems that he doesn't have a shred of memory of her left. He's forgotten all about Bailey!
“Leader, Mr. Doyle has something urgent to discuss with you.”
Artemis tossed the photo on the tray Yvette was holding and sat back on the couch. “Let him in.”
With that, the latter scurried out of the study.
She bumped into Dominic when she passed by the stairs.
“I'm about to tell him that the Saviors have invaded Tarragon's territory, causing countless deaths and injuries. Let's
see how he'll react,” the old man said in a low voice.
Nodding, Yvette replied, “Remember that our main focus is to sound him out. You mustn't upset him.”
“All right.”
Dominic entered the study and bowed to Artemis.
Artemis raised a brow and asked nonchalantly, “You wanted to talk to me about something urgent?”
“Leader, the Saviors have been getting arrogant as of late. They issued a large-scale attack on Tarragon's branch
and caused countless deaths and injuries. How should we deal with this?”
Artemis furrowed his brows slightly. The air around him turned cold, and it seemed that the news had angered him.
“The Saviors again? Hah! They've been provoking me time and time again. Did they think I wouldn't dare to declare
war against them? Let's wipe them all out since they want to die so much. We can use this chance to empower
ourselves with their powers as well.”
Dominic stayed silent for a moment before he replied, “As the saying goes, capture the leader, and the rest will
topple. We can lessen any unwanted injury this way.”
“Oh?” Artemis looked at him in amusement. Then, with a raised brow, he asked, “Do you know how to capture the
leader of the Saviors? That woman never shows her face, and no one knows anything about her weaknesses.
Perhaps you have information about her?”
Dominic quickly nodded and said, “Five years ago, I arranged for a group of secret service agents to infiltrate the
Saviors. One of them showed outstanding performance and was transferred to their headquarters. Based on the
information he sent us, the leader of the Saviors is an abandoned daughter of one of the prominent families in
Chanaea. But I'm not sure if this is true.”
“A daughter of a prominent family? Are you kidding me, Mr. Doyle? How can a daughter from a prominent family
lead tens of thousands of secret service agents and become the leader of the Saviors?”
The old man's eyes darkened. He lowered his head and proceeded to tell Artemis all the renowned identities Bailey
had.
“It's not surprising that someone with as many identities as her is the leader of the Saviors.”
An ambiguous smile crept up on Artemis' face. “You're talking about the woman from the Jefferson family in
Hallsbay? There are rumors that she's the daughter of the Shurmer family.”
That left Dominic stunned and confused.
How does he know Bailey?
As he pondered about it, realization suddenly dawned on him.

He must've forgotten the moments he spent with Bailey but still remembers her legendary achievements. It's more
suspicious if he doesn't remember anything at all.
“Leader, have you... heard of Ms. Bailey of the Jefferson family too?”
“Yes, I've heard about her, but I've never met her. I don't know what she looks like, but she's impressive indeed. You
were suggesting that she's the leader of the Saviors?”
With a nod, Dominic replied, “That's the report the agent sent me. I request that you issue a kill order, Leader. As
long as we kill Bailey, we will render the Saviors aimless without a leader. We can take advantage of the situation
once they fall into chaos.”
Artemis didn't try to hide the killing intent in his eyes. An icy aura permeated the air.
“Then, give the order to hunt her down and kill her in the name of Tarragon. Tell them I'm the one who wants to
claim her head.”
Dominic couldn't help but heave a sigh of relief. It seems that he's really lost his memories. All he feels toward her
now is hatred for an enemy. There's no way he feels love for her anymore.
“All right. I'll go and give the order right now. Do you want to return to Hallsbay? Rumor has it that Bailey is there
right now.”
Artemis grabbed the wine glass on the table and took a few sips. Raising his brows, he asked, “What? Do you want
me to deal with her personally because all of you can't handle her?”
“Uh...”
With a wave of his hand, Artemis said coldly, “Can't you all handle a woman? What harm can she do? Leave this
matter to the subordinates. I don't have the time to deal with her.”
