He had known all along that Letitia had stashed a blade under her pillow, but he kept mum and didn’t

Letitia challenged him, “Aren’t you scared that one day, I’ll take a stab at your heart again?”

Hearing this. Elgin actually cracked a smile, “I gotta remind you of something, unless I let it happen,

nobody can touch me. You got to hurt me this time because I allowed it, get it?”

“Elgin, how does it feel to have everything under your thumb, huh?”

Letitia glared at him hard. Everything under his control, his eagle eye never missing a beat.

Back in his office, Elgin changed into fresh clothes in the lounge and dove straight into work.
