Chapter 154
A scene straight out of a just ended.
Eloise quickly dashed out of the coffee shop.
She and Callum were done, but she landed herself in an even bigger mess.
Harvey swiftly cover, grabbing her wrist, "Eloise."
Eloise bit her lip lightly, "Are you out of your mind?"
The situation was beyond embarrassing!
He was totally...
Even if she and Callum couldn't be a couple, they could still be friends. But this situation was just too
embarrassed.
Harvey was pissed too.
He forcefully pushed Eloise against the car.
His fingers traced over her face, and with a slow yet dangerous voice, he asked, "Do you care for him?
Eloise...I've been watching you guys, don't you care about me?"
As he spoke, jealousy was clearly written all over his face.
He gently held her chin, uncomfortably asking, "Have you kissed him?"
Eloise angrily slapped him.
After the slap, she slightly lifted her face, waiting for his retaliation, knowing well that Harvey's temper wasn't
the best.
Harvey was indeed pissed, but he would never hit a woman.
He touched his face, surprisingly still managing to laugh.
"Eloise, I've told you before, you only dare to lose your temper at me!"
Even though they had been apart for a long time, being in close distance now, he couldn't help but tease her a
bit, his voice turning husky with desire.
"Eloise, let's give it another shot!"
As he spoke, he kissed her ear.
Eloise stiffened.
Even though Harvey had mentioned this before, she didn't want to think about it, didn't dare to. But now that he
brought it up again, Eloise had to take it seriously.
She gently pushed him away, whispering, "Harvey, it's impossible for us now!"

Harvey took a step back, his deep eyes looking at her fragile state.
"Why is it impossible? Weren't we happy together? Did you ever truly like Callum?"
Eloise slowly straightened up.
She looked at him, firmly declaring, "Even without Callum, there would be other men! Harvey, you were the one
who dumped me, and now you expectto crawl back to you just because you want to give it another shot? If |
did that, I would lose all respect for myself!"
She took a deep breath, continuing to speak.
"We're over! Don't look forin the future, and stop doing all these weird things, or else..."
Harvey chuckled.
He lit a cigarette, nonchalantly retorting.
"Or else what? Going to accuseof sexual harassment?"
Eloise got mad again.
She tried to get into her car, but Harvey grabbed her arm.
Blowing a smoke ring towards her, he casually said with a smile, "Ms. Laurent, | helped you out and you couldn't
even say thank you. How cold-hearted!"
Eloise was very aware of his tricks.
She shook off his hand, got into the car, and drove away.
Harvey didn't get angry, standing there slowly smoking, his eyes and eyebrows
full of a mature man's charm...
Callum cout, passing by him.
Harvey squinted slightly, laughed, and then got into his car and left.
Eloise and Callum broke up.
She called Michelle, updating her on the current situation.
Michelle listened silently for a while, and then said, "If you guys aren't meant to
be, then don't force it."
Eloise answered softly.
Michelle seemed to want to say something else, but didn't.
She'd already received a call from Delilah, who was obviously upset about something and mentioned something
about Harvey. But since Eloise didn't bring it up, Michelle didn't ask further.
Eloise ended the call.
She suddenly felt empty, so she started tidying up the apartment and lit saromatherapy candles.
The night was extremely quiet.
She thought about her unsuccessful love life and poured herself a glass of wine.
She initially just wanted to take a small sip.
But she was too heartbroken, so she ended up drinking more... When she was tipsy, Callum called.
Eloise thought for a moment, and picked up.
Callum's voice was a bit hoarse, "Eloise..."
He seemed to think for a long tbefore saying in a low voice, "Eloise, is it really over between us?"
Eloise didn't answer.
She knew that Callum wasn't doing too well either...
She knew there was no future with him, but she still wanted to show him skindness.
Callum let out a bitter laugh, then he lowered his voice, saying in a somewhat desolate tone, "Actually, it's not
too bad! Eloise, | might be getting engaged, to a girl that my mom recommended."
Eloise didn't expect things to move so quickly.
But she wasn't a fool, as she quickly guessed that this girl had probably been there all along. Callum had been
resisting before, but after everything that happened, he had accepted the marriage.
She graciously congratulated him.
Callum couldn't help but think, maybe Eloise never really liked him.
He just happened to show up at a particular moment, filling the gap after Eloise
and Harvey broke up. But he, Callum, never truly entered her heart...
Eloise ended the call.
Her mood got even worse, not because she was heartbroken, but because Callum already had a fiancee. She
was good looking and had a good personality, why was she still single?
That guy didn't work out, and this guy didn't work out either!
Late at night, Eloise got drunk.
Anyway, she was at home, getting drunk was no big deal.
Suddenly, the door to the apartment opened.
Harvey walked in elegantly, a newly made key in his hand.
In this small home, the room was warm with the heat on, and the lit aromatherapy candles were giving off a
sweet orange scent.

Eloise was asleep on the couch in her cotton cow-print pajamas. Her head was slightly tilted, eyes gently closed,
and her tempting red lips slightly parted... Harvey's body tensed slightly.
He hadn't had any release in a long time, just looking at this scene was enough to make him lose control.
He wasn't the kind of man who would deny himself. He wanted to start over with her. Once he had this thought,
he had no qualms about claiming her and taking her to bed.
Harvey took off his coat, underneath was a business suit.
He slowly undid two buttons of his shirt, his Adam's apple tantalizingly moving.
He walked over, leaning over Eloise, one hand on the sofa, the other cupping her
face.
Her lips, slightly parted, exhaled the aroma of red wine.
Harvey felt if he held back any longer, he'd be less of a man.
He leaned down and kissed her - a series of deep, shallow, intertwined kisses.
But it wasn't enough for him, so he couldn't help but hold her tightly.
Her body was so soft...
After getting drunk, she beceven more docile, more obedient.
Harvey's emotions were filled with passion, whispering her nas he kissed
her.
"Eloise..."
Even though Eloise was drunk, she wasn't completely out of it.
She slowly opened her eyes, seeing Harvey's handsface getting closer and closer. His chin was slightly
lifted, his eyes half-closed, his face flushed, exuding a sexy charm.
Eloise couldn't help but gently stroke his face...
Harvey shivered, his voice hoarse.
"Eloise..."
If it was before, Eloise would have been touched by his emotions, but she couldn't forget the painful experience
that night in the hospital, the pain the machine caused in her body, and he wasn't there for her.
Eloise weakly said, a hint of drunkenness in her voice, "How did you get in? Harvey, we've broken up, | just broke
up with Callum... even if | want to sleep with someone, it shouldn't be you!"
After saying that, she kicked him, refusing to back down!
Harvey grabbed her slender leg, looking deeply into her eyes, babbling, "What's
the point of being with a useless guy like Callum? How could he possibly make you happier than me... besides,
aren't | your only man?"
