"I mean, no need forto spell it out, right?" Hertha said with a smirk to Georgia.
Georgia was already feeling down, trying her best to win back Alaric, and now seeing Hertha not only unaffected by her earlier provocation but also confidently mocking her.
It made Georgia feel insecure and incredibly angry.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Hertha, cut the cryptic crap!" Georgia snapped, her teeth practically grinding together in hatred.
"Is itwho's being cryptic, or are you just feeling guilty?" Hertha chuckled, her arms crossed as she watched Georgia like she was watching a unfold.
"You said Alaric was the one who pinned you down, so you must know how long he 'lasted'. Tell me, how long did he go for?" Hertha wasn't the type to shy away from saying what's on her mind. Since Georgia was so blunt earlier, she saw no reason to hold back.
No matter the setting, she spoke her mind, unstoppable by anyone.
Georgia blushed a deep red at the question, stealing a glance at Alaric to see his expression darken, his face stern.
Georgia stammered, "It's been so long, how could I remember?" "Weren't you all about Alaric? Forget the details, but you don't remember even the duration?" Hertha's smile was persistent.
Her piercing gaze seemed to cut right through Georgia, as if seeing through all of her.
Georgia, flushed with embarrassment and annoyance, glared at Hertha and then instinctively looked at Alaric again.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAlaric, his face taut with tension, was clearly struggling internally. Why would Hertha bring up such private matter in front of such a woman? Was she just thick-skinned, or deliberately making him uncomfortable? To vent her frustration and anger, she brought up his and Georgia's encounter in front of Georgia.
Making both him and Georgia uncomfortable.
Amidst his turmoil, Alaric felt deeply troubled.
"He lasted an hour each time, really woreout!" Georgia's face went from pale to flushed as she boldly replied to Hertha's question.
Hertha chuckled lightly: "An hour each time? You've got quite the imagination. What man lasts an hour each time? He's not a superhero! Besides, you didn't get back to your hotel room until nearly dawn that day, right? With Alaric 'wearing you out', foreplay for an hour, the act for another hour, and then cuddling for at least half an hour afterwards. By that timeline, you guys wouldn't have fallen asleep until at least ten in the morning, but when I woke up, it was eight, and you were already fast asleep. The timing doesn't add up."
"Who said I went to the room just before dawn?" Georgia retorted, neck ve bristling. "Still trying to argue? Alaric and I
checked out that hotel last night. The receptionist mentioned you were om called down minutes after going to the room, dealing with the police for hours before returning. Moreover, the receptionist ove
remembered the tyou went to your room, which was just before dawn. You said Alaric lasted an hour each time; how does that tadd up?" X
