"You have a flipping human form?! Why am I not surprised?" Jet laughed when Leon cancelled his transformation. It was not really a big deal. He figured that Leon had used a transformation skill, and that meant that he could change his form into a variety of things. This also meant that Leon did not have to keep the human appearance that he had just displayed. Which also meant that if he had any bad intentions, then he would not be able to track Leon if he ever changed his forms.
Leon just shrugged and they continued walking. So far, they had not seen any of the monsters unique to this floor. Thanks to that, Leon had a bit of free time on his hands. He had never finished going over the status pages of his other summons. He was still curious, and that was doubly so for his newer summons. He also needed to check the pages of his older summons that ranked up.
There was also a good thing that he had noticed. His Supreme Skill, <Abyss of the Undead>, came with a perk. Thanks to it, he did not need to go looking around for a catalyst to trigger the race advancement of his summons. They could advance as long as they had reached the threshold and were within the abyss. Unfortunately, he still needed to look for a catalyst for his own advancements.
It also made him think of the Obsidian Pool. It had been something so powerful to him a while back, but now that he was this strong, would it still be powerful enough? With his <Spell Weaver>, he might just be able to crack the mechanism behind the runes that supported it and enhance them.
Anyway, back to status checking.

'How the heck does he have these mastery skills? And where did his other skills go to?' Leon wondered. He poked and prodded the status page until he focused on the elemental mastery skill and it broke down, revealing its make-up. There, Leon saw a flurry of other skills. Earth magic, fire magic, wind magic, and water magic. He was confused for a bit, but figured that Kaladin had unlocked all of these skills as he ranked up. The skill levels are also quite high, with all of them being in apprentice level.
'Alright, next is Nero.' Leon comforted himself with the fact that his skills were also rising up high quickly the more he used them.

Leon nodded his head. Everything was well. Nero did not led down his expectations. But his title was a bit interesting. Leon wondered whether if a magic induced 'night' could trigger Nero's title effects.
Shrugging it away, Leon was about to move over to Grokus' status when the first monster they had encountered so far appeared. A strange creature with a humanoid body and six legs skittered around the corner of the stone walled labyrinth that the duo were currently walking through. But strangely enough, it did not attack them. Instead, it looked at them strangely, tilting its head with curiosity.
"Kill it, quick!" Jet suddenly said. Leon reacted immediately, summoning a flurry of ice spikes that he shot forward. Like bullets, the ice spikes tore through the monster's body, immediately ending its life. But it was already too late.
"What was that?" Leon wondered.
[Level 11 Skara Scout killed.]
"I didn't recognize it at first because I have never seen one for myself, but this should be a Skara scout." Jet said, walking over to the creature's body. "They are relatively weak combat wise, so they are sent out to scout for intruders in their nest."
"But this doesn't look like a nest..." Leon said, looking around. It looked like an underground prison of sorts.
"True, but their nests are not like that of the worms on the first floor. Outside, in the world, a single Skara queen is all that is needed to create a nest. From there, she begins reproducing and creating more of her kind. They are like ants. They search for places that are not frequented by others before they settle down and start spreading." Jet explained what he knew of the Skara creatures.
Leon rubbed his chin in thought. Since the Skara scouts were not particularly strong, he decided that he would absorb its soul to strengthen himself. The dark wisps floated into his chest and merged with his core, minutely strengthening his body, mind and core.
"We need to keep our guard up. The Skara scout did not have much time, but it would have surely left a trail for others to follow behind it. There might be an army on its way to us right now." Jet warned.
The two of them continued moving forward while Jet shared what he knew about the six legged creatures. There were various castes within the Skara community. The scout were one of the lowest. There were the workers that tended to the queen, and there were the soldiers. Of course, the soldiers were split up into sub groups. There were the warriors that were purely physical fighters, but there was also another sub group that used magic to fight. To put it simply, it would not be easy to beat them all.
