Chapter 653 The most infuriating thing was that the bodyguards kept calling Aurelia "Mrs. Stirling" as if she still held the title. She had divorced Leopold ages ago. What kind of "Mrs. Stirling” was Aurelia? She was the one who should be addressed as Mrs. Stirling! "Listen up,” she snapped at the stone-faced bodyguards, "you work for Leopold, and I'm his wife. I'm the Mrs.
Stirling, not Aurelia. She's a thing of the past and you take orders from me." But the bodyguards didn't even blink an eye at her outburst.
Fuming, she raised her voice to a screech, “Aurelia, get out here!" The door swung open, and Yuna stepped out. “Ma am, it's late. Everyone needs their rest. We'll have to take you if you don't return to your room." She and another guard took Megan by the arms.
Megan was livid, cursing them out, "Let go of me! Do you want to get fired? | am the Mrs. Stirling, carrying the Stirling family heir.

At the hotel entrance, she had parted ways with Leopold.
She headed to her room with her son and Skyler, leaving Leopold to follow later.
Upon seeing Aurelia, Megan was surprised. Aurelia had gone out.
When had she left, and why hadn't her people noticed? "Did you sneak out with my husband?" Megan demanded.
Aurelia snorted with derision.
She had indeed slipped out right under Megan's nose.
If Megan could seduce her husband and undermine her position, why couldn't she give her a taste of her own medicine? "Have you lost your mind? Mr. Leopold has already returned to Elysium,’ Aurelia retorted.
Megan scoffed, "Do you takefor a fool? If he had returned to Elysium, would he leave so many bodyguards here?" "They're here for Skyler’ Aurelia explained calmly.
Skyler nodded in agreement. "Yeah, these guys are Leopold's detail. I'm just a kid and need... protection." Megan rolled her eyes dismissively.

"You're all in cahoots with Leopold, playing hide and seek to fool me, right? I'm not that gullible. | won't rest until | see Leopold with my eyes." "Then keep waiting. We don't mind; Aurelia shrugged, her demeanor as serene as a clear sky.
At that moment, Arnold emerged from his room, freshly showered and wrapped in a navy blue robe that accentuated his allure.
"Megan, it's late, and everyone's heading to bed. Please stop making a scene and retire to your room,” he urged.
Megan's gaze lingered on him. “Arnold, tellthe truth. Did Leopold really return to Elysium?" Arnold replied indifferently, “I haven't seen him, and neither has Aurelia. She's been withthe whole time." He then scooped up William. “Tired, buddy? Ready for a bath and bed? You want to sleep with Mommy tonight or with Daddy?" William clung to his neck, nuzzling his father's cheek. “With daddy." “Alright, let's get you ready for bed” Arnold said, patting William's head affectionately. He turned to Aurelia. "I'll take care of William tonight. You've had a long day. Get srest." Aurelia nodded and gave squick instructions to Skyler, and everyone returned to their rooms, leaving Megan to stew in her frustrations.
Defeated and fuming, Megan finally entered the elevator and returned to her room.
