Leopold poured himself a glass of coffee, taking a contemplative sip before replying, "You know, your theory might just hold water." Aurelia's eyebrows arched in triumph. "I've read my fair share of detective stories. Thank you." She was a devoted fan of Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, and the like.
When she wasn't busy with her design work, her favorite pastime was to sit by the window with a cup of coffee in hand, lost in a whodunit.
Leopold playfully tweaked her nose, his eyes softening with affection. "Your mind's more complicated than a road map." Aurelia chuckled. "I may not have the staggering IQ you guys have, but I'm sharper than the average Joe." Leopold laughed, appreciating her boundless imagination the most.
The darkness of the night gradually deepened.
Outside the VIP care room at Elysium Hospital, two bodyguards stood their vigilant watch, ensuring no unauthorized person came near.
A woman dressed as a nurse approached with a cart. "Time for the last check of the day. | need to take the patient's temperature." The bodyguard opened the door to let her in.

"Leopold" lay on the hospital bed with his eyes shut, seemingly in a deep coma.
The woman withdrew a capsule filled with cyanide, ready to slip it into his mouth, but a gun barrel pressed against the back of her head abruptly halted her actions.
The bodyguard, gloved hands quick and sure, snatched the deadly capsule from her grip.
With a swift karate chop, she was out cold.
Back at the villa, Leopold picked up a call from Kevin.
He threw an arm around the woman beside him, his lips curving into a wicked smirk. "Want to watch something interesting?" He grabbed the remote and flicked on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and high-definition footage began to play.
It was a live broadcast.
In a shadowy basement, a female assassin was tied to a chair, flanked by two men in silver masks.
One man held up a tiny pill, pinched the woman's chin, pried her mouth open, and forced the capsule down her throat.
The poison acted fast. First, the female assassin felt an unbearable itching as if ants were feasting on the insides and then a bone-piercing agony like being flayed with thousands of knives.
The assassin twisted in pain, screaming and moaning.
"| can't take it! I'm dying!" A cold voice emanated from behind the silver mask. "How does it compare to Shadow Venom? Which agony do you prefer?" The female assassin, through tears and sobs, begged for mercy, claiming this was a thousand times worse than Shadow Venom, a fate worse than death.

"Please! I'll do anything. Please give me the antidote." "This poison is called Hellfire. Take one dose, and you'll taste all the torments of the damned." While speaking, the man took a syringe out of a small box. "This antidote can neutralize both Shadow Venom and Hellfire. You'll need a shot every month, and the poison will flare up if you go three days overdue." He injected the antidote into the woman's arm, and she soon quieted down, passing out from the overwhelming ordeal.
Leopold switched off the video.
"Interesting enough for you?" He asked.
"Yes," Aurelia agreed, nodding, "beats any Hollywood blockbuster." It was the epitome of turning the tables. If they distributed Hellfire, Leopold would have the people from the AK Group dancing on his strings.
After a moment of silence, Aurelia poured herself some coffee as well.
"I can't believe the AK Group has resorted to cyanide. Geoffrey must be out for blood this time, probably livid over losing control of Skyler." Leopold stirred his coffee, a sharp glint in his eyes.
"Isn't it odd, though? Skyler knows about every poison Geoffrey uses." Aurelia jolted, "Are you suggesting Skyler's the one behind these poisons? Or at least he's in cahoots with Geoffrey to create them?"
