Sherman frowned. "What's there to resolve? And why would you contact her superior?" "To put pressure and-" "Enough," Sherman interrupted. "I'll take over for now. I know her, so I'm going to meet her myself. Try to be more careful in the future." The subordinate nodded repeatedly.
It was no wonder that Sherman becso nervous after Rita's nwas mentioned-she turned out to be an old acquaintance. Upon realizing that, the subordinate immediately regretted his earlier remarks. If he had been allowed to finish his sentence, he might have to face svery dire consequences.
Sherman felt a little irritated because he did not want Rita to be involved in that matter, particularly because it x could be related to the developer they had taken over from. Evere though she was the Russells' eldest daughter, it was incredibly risky for a girl to be embroiled in that sort of matter alone.
After contemplating for a while, he grabbed his car keys and got up. He decided it would be prudent to have a conversation with Rita.
