Chapter 101: A New Customer
After the group of Pento left, Aakesh was in his store without any customer for around two hours.
Aakesh was relaxing on his chair with both his eyes closed when he heard footsteps from the door. He opened his eyes and saw a lady entering the store.
She had her hair covered with a special cloth, while her face was covered by a phoenix mask. The mask and clothes weren't ordinary as they didn't allow anyone to peer through them, but it was like child play to Aakesh. He clearly saw her hair and face.
The lady had silver silky hairs, with silver eyes staring at Aakesh. A surprised expression appeared on Aakesh's face as he noticed that the girl had pointy ears and a pointy nose.
The lady belonged to the race Moonlight Elf. What surprised Aakesh was that even the nearest Elf city was several trillions of yojanas(1 yojana= 14.6 Km) away from the Bisan Kingdom.
"What do you sell here?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe lady asked with a gentle and soft tone while curiously surveying the store. She had entered the store as she felt a strange feeling when she looked at the building outside.
When she entered the store, seeing a blue-skinned man as a store owner in a human city was shocking for her at first, but after thinking about her own race, she stopped thinking about his skin.
Her jaw dropped behind her mask as she recognized the hardwood used for the floor. She couldn't help but take a look at Aakesh once again only to find him looking at her expressionlessly, so she took a deep breath and asked the question. Her tone was gentle and soft, but there was majesty in her voice as if she belonged to royal blood.
"I sell some pills and an entry to a new world," Aakesh expressionlessly answered as he also stopped thinking about why a Moonlight Elf was currently in a human Kingdom, so much far from the closest Elf settlement.
"What do you mean by entry to a new world?" She asked with a confused expression after not finding a travel portal present in the store. She could only see an open room in the store, but for the portal to be there in the room was almost impossible as she has seen travel portals used for traveling to worlds. Even the smallest portal she had seen was twice the height of the store building.
Aakesh then told her about the Panagea. The more she learned, the shocking her face became behind the mask.
"You're lying!" She subconsciously said as believing everything Aakesh said was impossible for her.
Aakesh expressionlessly responded to her doubts, "If you don't believe me, you can check it out for yourself."
She nodded while she went toward the only open room in the store. She looked at the board outside the room and read what was written on it.
She then turned around and expressed her doubts, "If what you say about Panagea is correct, how can you allow people to enter Panagea with such measly amount?"
She would've already left the store after Aakesh talked about Panagea, as she thought he was fooling her. But she stayed because of the Ashamba hardwood floor, as anyone who uses such luxurious and outrageous items for mere hardwood floor wouldn't think of fooling someone like her.
"Do you want to go or not?" Aakesh ignored her question and instead asked.
"Hmph!" The Elf scoffed in response as she controlled herself not to snap back. She then took out 75 inferior Primal stones from her space ring and handed them to Aakesh.
Seventy-five inferior Primal stones were nothing for her, but she decided to first spend one hour to check the things Aakesh had talked about Panagea for herself.
Aakesh nodded and waved his hands. The next moment, the Primal stones disappeared from her hand, but she wasn't surprised as she could see the store owner was a Void Forging expert.
"Enter that room, there would be several portals, and you can use any one of them," He expressionlessly said as he pointed at the portal room.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe Elf nodded and entered the room. A look of shock emerged on her face when she saw more than ten portals lying in the room.
The portals were of the same height as her, several times smaller than the portals she had seen in her city, but the pressure she felt from them was even more than the combined pressures of travel portals she had seen in her life until now.
She then took a step forward and disappeared into the portal. The next moment, she appeared in a town full of Elves. She had a shocked expression as she checked her surroundings.
She could see Elves of different ethnicities laughing together, which she had never seen in the actual world. While she was curiously looking around, she suddenly disappeared into thin air and appeared in the air above the clouds.
The next moment, the scenes of Panagea flashed in front of her. The more she saw, the things about Panagea became believable it became for her as she had read about many of the races seen in the flashbacks.
The identity of the store owner became mysterious for her as many of the races can only be found in other dimensions. When she saw the emperors, she hadn't even read about their races, so she decided at that moment to make good relations with the store owner.
"Maybe, he could help me in my mission!" A thought arose in her heart as she thought about the identity of Aakesh, while in the actual world, Aakesh was relaxing on his chair, waiting for other customers to come.
"Hey, system, let's organize a tournament for promotion of our store," Aakesh suddenly said while waiting for new customers to come. It has already been around a week, but he still hasn't got enough customers to even sell all the fifteen virtual portals at the same time.
The store products and their effects would've made crowds stand in a queue in the front of the store all the time to buy them, but nothing of such sort has happened until now.
[Host, what's on your mind?]
The system didn't refuse right away and asked for his explanation.
