Chapter 250: A Day in the Store
"You need to pay 225 ordinary Primal stones," Aakesh told the man standing in front of him.
The man was a Void Condensation level cultivator, and he had hurt his dantian due to Qi deviation during the cultivation. He was a citizen of the Bisan Kingdom. He was a free expert and didn't belong to any organization, so he didn't have too many resources.
If he were to buy dantian healing pills or potions for his cultivation level, it would cost a fortune, and he may not even be able to afford it. He had also attended the ceremony to ask for help from the new king when he learned about the store due to the tower, so he decided to check the store before, asking the new king for help.
When he arrived in the store, the price of the pill stunned him. In contrast to what he expected, he got three pills for less than he expected the price of a single pill.
The man took out the required Primal stone in response to Aakesh and handed it to him.
Aakesh waved his hands, and the Primal stones disappeared from the store. He then handed the pills to the man.
The man thanked Aakesh and left the store right away since he couldn't wait to cultivate again.
After the man left, another customer approached Aakesh since today there were more new customers today than in the last few days.
Time flew by.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAakesh finally got free for the time as he had already answered all the questions, and there were no new customers for now.
Since he had nothing to do, Aakesh decided to check the quest screen. He had just got a customer that paid for the Gods & Demons level training area, so he wanted to know how far he was from completing the quest?
The next moment, two blue screens containing the details and progress of the quest appeared in front of her.
[Mission Objective: Sell weapons and training hours,
Requirement: Since you have already sold seven weapons and one training hour, it's time for you to let other customers get the benefits of training hours and weapons sold by the store,
Number of weapons you need to sell: 10,000,
Number of customers/hours for Training arena: 10,000 customers or 100,000 training hours(think to expand),
Days required: 180 days,
Mission reward: One thousand, four hundred, and fifty more virtual portals! Addition of Emperor and Overlord grade into the weapons and Training arena! Addition of Superior pills on the pill shelf!
Failure Punishment: The disappearance of the training area!]
[Quest Progress,
Days left: 176 days,
Weapon sold: 223/10,000,
Training customers/hours:
Customers: 982/10,000,
Regular training hours: 3746/100,000 hours,
Immortal level: 128/10,000 hours,
Gods & Demons level: 28/1,000 hours.]
Aakesh didn't have much interest in the detail of the quest, so he waved his hands, and the screen disappeared. He then focused on the progress he had made until now.
He couldn't help but frown, seeing the progress. The quest had two requirements to achieve, so Aakesh needed to achieve both and not one.
The requirement of training hours was going better than he had expected. The only problem he had in that was which of the four parameters would he complete first.
But the same can't be said for weapons requirements. Aakesh had expected weapons to sell like fire since they're the most needed commodity for any cultivator, but things happened exactly the opposite. He had only been able to sell 223 weapons in 4 days. If it continued at this rate, he would only achieve the requirement at the end of the quest duration.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe then waved his hands, and the screen disappeared. Since he can't personally influence the customers, he could only wait for the customers to promote the weapons sold by the store of their own will.
Aakesh was only thinking about the weapons when a newer customer entered the store and approached him.
"What products do you sell?" The man asked with a hint of arrogance in his tone.
Aakesh decided to forget about the weapons requirement for now and focus on the store. He then looked at the man, asking him the question. The man had a cold face and was looking at Aakesh to get the answer.
Aakesh could hear the arrogance in the man's tone, but he couldn't refuse to answer his question just for his tone since many people unknowingly had arrogance in their voice.
"The store sells pills…."
Aakesh introduced all the products sold by the store to the man.
"Can I test the pill before buying?" The man asked with the same tone.
Aakesh only stayed silent in response, and the man had got his answer, so he nodded and began conversing with Aakesh about his purpose of coming here.
Time flew by. The man was called Veenesh and was the head of a small settlement of humans in the Mysterious Peak. There was only a single alchemist in his clan, and he had been ill for the past year.
The clan could manage for a year without the alchemist making any new pills, but now a shortage had emerged, and if he didn't buy from outside, the cultivation of the clan member would take a hit. He found out about the store from his connections inside the kingdom, so he personally arrived to buy the pills and potions.
When Aakesh learned that the man was the head of a closed clan, he thought his weapons sales would rise, but Veenesh poured cold water on that hope. There were enough blacksmiths in his clan, and they had enough weapons for everyone. His only purpose for coming here was to buy some pills.
Even though Veenesh didn't want what Aakesh wanted to sell, he couldn't refuse to sell him pills. But, there was a requirement that a person could only buy three in one day, so Aakesh told him about it.
Veenesh tried to pay triple since the only thing he was lacking was money, and the cost of the pills was also less than other stores.
Aakesh refused to budge, so Veenesh had no choice but to let go.. He then bought his quota and told Aakesh that if his pills worked as he had said, he would be here tomorrow to buy the required amount of them with more of his clansmen.
