Chapter 479: Let’s See How Long It Takes to Reach the Conqueror??? (4)
“12,389 more territories left,” Aakesh murmured as he reached the edge of another territory in his journey.
Hoping this time he wouldn’t have to walk for weeks to cross the area, Aakesh took a step forward, leaving another territory and entering another one.
The memory he had heard from the various rulers he had killed for this territory emerged in his mind.
He couldn’t help but be disappointed remembering the details he had learned. The ruler in this territory was a flying creature, and a quick one at that, making Aakesh’s hopes of battling decrease.
“Whoosh!”
“Whoosh!”
“Whoosh!”
Aakesh had only taken a step forward when he heard continuous sounds of something tearing through the air rang in the area.

Aakesh recognized the race of the creature. They were Furry Griffins.
Griffins was a race that was spread across all three dimensions since it was one of Deva’s creations.
Furry Griffins were the type of griffins exclusive to the Sacred dimension, just like the majority of the rulers he had come across.
Griffins usually had an eagle head, a lion’s body, and wings of an eagle, with one pair of legs being eagle-claws and the other pair being lion-paws.
Furry Griffin, on the other hand, had its lion’s head replaced with the head of Keeshond(A breed of Dogs in both realities and this book), the wings of an eagle, one pair being eagle-claws, while the other pair being paws, and the tail of a lion.
The name furry they get from their excess amount of hair spread across their heads and tails.
Furry Griffins were social creatures and always lived in a group. It wasn’t due to them being weak, but in fact, Furry Griffins were one of the top races of the Sacred dimension.
Of the five, Aakesh could sense the same bloodline from the four of them.
Seeing the group of five, Aakesh understood the relationship between the five of them. The griffin leading the group was the ruler with its mate, while the three griffins one step behind them were its children, with two of them being female and one being male.
Aakesh could sense that none of the griffins in the group were weak. Even the youngest Furry Griffin in the group was almost equivalent to a Void beast in the Primal dimension. The ruler was even more formidable than the strongest opponent Aakesh had come across during the past three months, with its mate being only second to it in strength.
Despite it, Aakesh was ready to face the battle. In fact, he hoped for it, as this was the largest territory he had come across in his journey until now. Whether it stayed like this or not was for the future since he didn’t know everything about the areas he had to go to. It would take him months to cross it, and Aakesh had no interest in traveling another month on foot.
He only knew the shortest way to reach the primary ruler from the spider den since even the spider didn’t recognize a number of the rulers of the territories due to different reasons.
“So, you’re the killer. I have been waiting for you to come since the moment you killed that bastard, Gregory.”
The next moment, something unexpected to Aakesh happened. The group of the Furry Griffins descended to the ground and approached Aakesh. The ruler even had a smile that looked weird on its Keeshond’s face.
Aakesh didn’t know who Gregory was, but he didn’t ask as Aakesh understood that it was some ruler he killed, and Aakesh had no interest in learning the details about those he killed.
“Let’s have a seat. I want to thank you for killing Gregory. I hated that bastard. He dared to think of my wife,” The ruler ignored Aakesh’s non-interest in Gregory and further spoke, revealing his purpose for hating Gregory.
The ruler then snapped using one of its eagle claws, and the next moment, a large circular table appeared with six chairs spread across it.
Without waiting for Aakesh’s response, the ruler sat on one of them while its family members followed it and sat on their respective chairs.
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself and my family,” The ruler suddenly stood up from his chair and commented.

When Aakesh entered this territory, he hoped for the ruler to descend and fight him. But here, things went beyond his expectations. He didn’t even have to do or say anything, but still, the ruler was already on the ground and asking him to have a seat.
“I am Clamont. She is my wife, Chrysant. She is my eldest daughter, Clara, my middle daughter, Chrym, and my youngest son, Clamont jr.,” The ruler introduced itself and its family members one by one.
Whenever he introduced one of his family members, they would stand up one by one and give a slight bow to Aakesh.
Aakesh could only expressionlessly watch it happening. He had no idea what was going on with this family and why they were facilitating someone who was going to kill the ruler and take away their happy days?
“Oh, come on, sit. We aren’t going to eat you,” Clamont smilingly said, seeing Aakesh still standing at the same spot since he had entered here.
“We only want to thank you for killing Gregory,” Chrysant chimed in and added. Her voice was gentle, and her tone contained sincerity.
“Yes, uncle intruder, please sit down!”
“Yes, uncle intruder, please sit down!”
“Yes, uncle intruder, please sit down!”
The three kids followed their parents and respectfully asked Aakesh to sit down.
Aakesh felt like he was in an illusion at that moment since he had no other reason to believe for the respect he was getting from the ruler and his family.
Aakesh pricked his consciousness to get out of the illusion if he was in it. As for the result, except for feeling a needle piercing his soul for a moment; nothing else changed.
There was still a table and six chairs in front of him, with only the one where he would sit being empty.
