Chapter 594: The Purpose?
A smile spread across Joyce’s face as he forgot Aakesh’s rejection of his invitation. He then looked at Aakesh and started stating his purpose.
“Senior, I have come here to invite you to join an expedition.”
“You may not know, but the Hygar race, from which my ancestors and I originated, belongs to a race from a place where even Gods are nothing.”
“Our primogenitor is the hon. Garuda and the hon. Hydra. Hence we got our name as Hygar.”
“Hon. Garuda sent the Hygar race here on a mission. It was to subdue the Titan race.”
“Many may think that the Titan race is a mythical race, but not us. We know about every Titan that lives in this Primal dimension. Even Eris is a Titan.”
“We were sent here to subdue the Titan race and kill them if they attempted to fight back, but we never reached such state as the Titans acted under control. For not even once did they dare to overthrow us directly or indirectly.”
“Since countless years have passed and the Titans did nothing to gain our wrath, our attitude toward them became lax, and at some point, we even forgot our mission and befriended many members of the Titan race.”
“Unfortunately for us, a few of the Titans were only acting and bidding their time. Fifty years ago, when a portal to another place appeared on the now disappeared mountain, Mysterious Peak, there was a female Titan that had entered the place and was also the survivor. Erica was the name of the Titan.”
“At that time, we had never thought that she would gain something from the place that would make her stronger than even the Void beasts.”
“We didn’t know whether Erica became stronger than the Void beasts fifty years ago or not, but most of my brethren believe that she had reached the strength at that time and was waiting for something.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“Senior, we may descend from the hon. Garuda and the hon. Hydra, but still, it would only take a single Void beast to make our race extinct in the Primal dimension.”
A look of fear had appeared on Joyce’s face, but he didn’t stop and continued while Aakesh expressionlessly listened.
“Senior, despite Erica surpassing the strength of the Void beasts, we weren’t afraid of her as we already had some contingency plan prepared for when any Titan achieved such strength.”
“But we finally felt fear three days earlier when suddenly a wave of attack hit one of the Universes in our control.”
A horrified expression appeared on Joyce’s face as his mouth got frozen from fear of what he was going to speak next. Joyce took a deep breath to soothe his pounding heart, and his expression soon returned to calm.
“It wasn’t Erica that had attacked us, but a creature not of this dimension.”
“It was the egg of a Chi…chi…chim…chimera!”
Joyce fell to the ground as he finally uttered the name of the creature that had destroyed one of the Universes in the Hygar’s control. What made Joyce even more fearful was the fact that it had only taken the figure a billionth of a second to do the deed, killing countless creatures of millions of races and several peak Immortals of the Hygar race.
After hearing the name of the creature, Aakesh’s expression changed, but he soon masked it without anyone being aware of it.
Chimera was a race of creatures that lived in the third dimension. They don’t have a specific category of species as they were a mixture of tens of races.
Aakesh didn’t have to think about the relationship between Erica and the Chimera.
Aakesh had also entered the world created to bind Vritrasura’s daughter. Erica must have gotten the egg from that world. Aakesh couldn’t help but consider Erica as a fortunate person since even he didn’t get any reward of such level, despite the fact that he had cleared the world and freed Vritrasura’s daughter. But when Aakesh remembered the gift he had gotten from Vritrasura, the Chimera egg fell short by a large margin even to reach one-third of the value of the egg of the Chaos Whale.
“Senior, Chimera is a creature that comes from the place where the hon. Garuda and hon. Hydra resides, so now the Hygar race’s life is at stake.”
“Since we didn’t know when we would face another attack from the Chimera, my father had ordered me to attack Erica and the Chimera. We can not just wait for our lives to come to an end.”
“Senior, I have come to ask you to help us in killing that Chimera. I don’t know how strong you are, but I am confident that I have never seen anyone that can even come close to the power you hold in your hands,” Joyce finally concluded his purpose. He then looked at Aakesh with a grave expression.
Joyce had put all his hope on Aakesh for defeating the Chimera since everyone in the Hygar race knew the contingencies were only for the Titans if they reached an undefeatable state. They wouldn’t do anything to harm the Chimera since it wasn’t a Titan.
“I won’t involve in the affairs of your races. If you two races have conflicts, you would have to solve it on your own,” Aakesh expressionlessly responded and dashed a bucket of cold water on all the hope Joyce had carried when he came here.
“Senior, the Chimera can hurt the Primal dimension,” Joyce pleaded, using the factor that Chimera is too strong for the Primal dimension and could even create a genocide of myriads of races here.
“You don’t have to worry about that. The Primal dimension would force it out if its strength crossed the limit,” Aakesh replied, still maintaining his expressionless face.
Aakesh had already crossed the limit of what strength a peak Immortal could have in the Primal dimension, but since his cultivation was still peak Immortal, the dimension didn’t force him out and made him ascend. Aakesh could only do this because of the system, so the Chimera would never be able to do that.
As its strength grew, its cultivation would also increase, and once it crossed the threshold of the peak Immortal, it would have no choice but to ascend.
“You don’t need to worry about the Chimera. If it were strong enough to endanger the Primal dimension, the Void beats would have acted,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Joyce and the group standing behind him with faces filled with disappointment.
The Chimera could destroy a Universe and kill several peak Immortals at once and not get ascended because of its outrageous strength due to its physique and top-level bloodline, not cultivation level.
If it would have reached a strength where it could endanger the lives and create mass killings in the Primal dimension, the Void beasts would have already acted. Their sole purpose for existence was to preserve the dimension.
Even though they have lost their trump card against figures from higher dimensions, they still were the mightiest of the Primal dimension, barring people like Aakesh, Dotta, or Lilith.
There was also another point that Oxen and Talia had also grown stronger after coming out of the Conspiracy continent, so Aakesh did not need to worry about the safety of the Primal dimension or not having enough customers across the countless Universes.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJoyce and the other fifteen members had their hearts heave a sigh of relief as their specific races also lived in the Primal dimension.
Joyce felt the same, but soon, his heart turned heavy again. Even though the Chimeras hadn’t grown strong enough to harm the Primal dimension or the people living in it since the Void beasts were there, the situation for the Hygar race wasn’t very optimistic since the Void beasts wouldn’t interfere in a conflict between two races even when they were the top-two races.
Not many people knew about the past of the Void beasts, but people like Joyce, who came from the top families of the top races, knew about it. This was the reason that the top races were even more fearful of the Void beasts just like a child who finds a lion like any other creature, but not the adult who knows about the lion’s strength and ferocity.
“Senior, the Hygar race would forever be grateful to you if you helped us get out of this precarious situation,” Joyce asked for help from Aakesh.
“No,” Aakesh straight away refused and gestured to the group to leave if they had nothing else to talk about.
The disappointment on Joyce’s face grew even more, but he didn’t dare to voice his thoughts. Joyce had no interest in offending Aakesh and inviting an enemy even more terrifying than the Chimera.
Joyce thought of leaving, but then suddenly, one of the group members standing behind him conversed something with Joyce spiritually in the Hygar race’s language.
“Thank you, senior, for listening to us,” Joyce thanked Aakesh and then turned around.
Instead of leaving the store, Joyce and the group members turned around toward the portal room and proceeded in its direction. Since every group member had a supreme card owned by them, they did not need to ask Aakesh for entering Panagea. They could enter it as long as the portals were vacant.
As for why the group didn’t ask Aakesh about the vacancy, they didn’t have to. If the portals were full, there would have been people waiting in the store hall to secure their place in the next group. It wasn’t the case at all. Except for Aakesh and the Sixteen, no one other was present in the hall.

A/N: Sorry for taking another day off and then a single chapter. I am glad I did; it helped my health return to premium. The book would return to its daily updates from tomorrow, and most probably it would return to its usual schedule from the twenty-sixth.
Sorry for the trouble, and once again thanks for reading and supporting the book!
Have a great night/day!
