241 Hot Shower and Fine Dishes
A few days passed by and Aethelwolf was still inside the Alchemy room. He only rested for a short time every day and spent most of his hours refining pills. Because of his hard work, he managed to refine everything ahead of schedule. Now, he had enough pills for more than fifty thousand people!
Only Aethelwolf could achieve this feat since his success rate in refining pills was a hundred percent!
Aethelwolf kept his cauldron inside his storage space. He then stretched his arms causing his bones to emit ka-ka sounds.
“Even with the body of a Level 4 Esper, the nonstop refinement in the last few days still drained my mental health. I should take a hot shower to relax my muscles.” He muttered to himself as he got out of the Alchemy room.
“Sir Aethelwolf, you’re finally out!”
Aethelwolf stared at the excited Rendell with a light smile. “Is there anything I missed in the last few days?” He asked.
Rendell shook his head and replied. “Nothing in particular, but Miss Julie Irish visited the mansion last night and she kept on mentioning the matter related to the Maynard Household. I didn’t know what she was talking about and she just told me to send someone to inform her once you step out of the Alchemy room. Other than that, Miss Aenwyn also looked for you a couple of times in the last few days.”
Aethelwolf nodded his head and walked through the hallway. Rendell followed half a step behind him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt“How is Olivia?” He asked.
.....
“Miss Hyacinth is taking care of the Young Miss. She is doing well and she spends most of her time playing with two recruits.” Rendell answered.
“Send someone to inform Miss Julie Irish that I’m already done refining pills. Also, please tell the servants to prepare a hot shower and a big meal for me.”
“Yes, Sir Aethelwolf!” Rendell bowed his head and left right away. He could tell that his boss was tired so he didn’t linger for long.
Aethelwolf entered his room and found out that Olivia wasn’t there. He then used his observation skill to scan the entire estate and he finally saw her outside, playing with Kerrin and Alba. Hyacinth was acting as her babysitter, while Einar was ensuring that she was safe.
“You’ve finally stepped out of the Alchemy room.” A calm voice drifted into his ears and he knew that it was Aenwyn.
He looked in her direction and flashed a smile.
The elven princess was sitting elegantly on a sofa. She was only a wearing thin light blue nightgown which could barely hide her seductive body.
“I wanted to completely refine all the pills we need before doing something else. It must have been hard on you guys.” Aethelwolf sat on a sofa opposite where Aenwyn was seated.
Aenwyn shook her head and muttered. “It was nothing much. Brian was careless so he fell into the trap I laid out for him.”
Hearing this, Aethelwolf gave her a thumbs up. “Where is he?” He asked.
“He is already under the control of the Slave Rune. I sent him back to his estate after treating his injuries.” Aenwyn replied calmly.
Aethelwolf nodded his head upon hearing this. “Although he is already under our control, you should send some men to observe him. We will deal with his assets, but I have to take care of something before that.”
“I’ve already sent our people to closely monitor Brian’s movement. They will be observing him twenty-four hours a day so you have nothing to worry about.” Aenwyn didn’t underestimate Brian despite having captured the man. He was still a peak stage Level 4 Esper so she sent a hundred soldiers to serve as spies in the Linaza Household.
He stood up and said. “That’s good. Let’s talk later. I’ll take a hot shower first.”
Aenwyn nodded her head. “Alright.”
Aethelwolf headed to the bathroom and saw two rows of maids waiting for him.
A beautiful servant stepped forward and said. “Sir Aethelwolf, your hot shower is ready. Do you want us to help you wash your body?”
Hearing this, Aethelwolf couldn’t help but look at the young lady from head to foot. She was beautiful, but she still fell short compared to Samira.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe looked at her deeply before shaking his head. “There’s no need for that. Just send my food inside.”
The young lady was disappointed, but she still smiled sweetly at him. “Yes, Sir Aethelwolf.”
Aethelwolf entered the bathroom and washed himself first with warm water. He then submerged himself in the hot water inside a large stone basin that could fit more than ten people.
“Ho!”
Aethelwolf felt tranquil the moment he dipped himself into the hot water. His muscles loosened up and relaxed soon after.
Fifteen minutes later, he heard a knocking on the bathroom door followed by the voice of the young servant from earlier. “Sir Aethelwolf, we will send your food inside.”
“You may enter.” Aethelwolf said in a calm voice.
The servants stepped inside the bathroom holding a tray each of which was filled with all sorts of healthy delicacies. They knew that he spent a few days inside the Alchemy room and Rendell specifically told them to cook healthy dishes.
Aethelwolf could already smell the fragrant aroma of the dishes. ‘It seems like our chefs have already incorporated my teachings.’ He thought to himself in satisfaction.
Aethelwolf tied a towel to his waist while the servants were making the trays float into the hot water. “Thanks. You guys may leave.” He said to the servants.
The beautiful servants glanced at his perfectly sculpted body for one last time before they exited the bathroom.
Aethelwolf ignored the blushing servants and turned his gaze to the dishes on the trays. He then grabbed a fork and tried the pasta.
“Not bad!” His eyes lit up after tasting it. The chefs didn’t disappoint him. They were able to cook pasta with a well-balanced taste and soft texture. He tried the other dishes and found them to his liking as well.
