The Alpha Bond 208 2/2 Austin und Alex worked together, their elemental abilities flaring to fe. Alex sent a massive blast of fire toward one of the wolves, but it only seemed to absorb the flames, growing hotter and more flour.

Alex groaned. "Okay, fire doesn't work!" Isaiah was already moving. Itis shadows swirled like a storm, wrapping around one of the wolves' legs and hardening the molten rock beneath it. The creature snarled, struggling as Isaiah's darkness solidified parts of its body.

"I can slow them down, Isalah gritted out, sweat brading on his for ead. "But not for long!" The second wolf lunged at Austin, its molten teeth snapping inches from his face. He dodged just in time, rolling away before launching a sharp gust of icy wind at it.

Austin's eyes lit up. "Wait-that's it!" He turned and sent a powerful blast of cold air at another one of the wolves. The sudden force scattered its ash- covered body, causing it to lose form for a moment.

"It's working!" Austin yelled.

Alex caught on quickly. "If we cool them down, they'll be easier to break!" Isaiah gritted his teeth, his shadows surging. "Then we need to strike now!" I saw it a split second too late.

"Elijah, MOVE!" I howled telepathicly.

Elijah barely managed to dodge, rolling across the heated stone just as the wolf lunged. It crashed down where he had just been, its molten claws raking across the ground.

With a sharp breath, Elijah pushed forward. The shard was encased in a thin layer of black volcanic glass, its surface smooth and polished With a quick strike of his dagger, he shattered the glass and grabbed the shard. The moment his fingers closed around it, the entire volcanic region began to collapse.
