Chapter 59 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Fifty Nine-1 When I woke up the next morning, the first thing I noticed was the int scent of Isaiah lingering on the pillow next toonly the disturbance on the usually straight side showed that someone had slept there. My lips tingled at the memory of what happened in the tub last night, and my cheeks flushed I replayed the scene in by mind. Afterward, Isaiah carriedto the bed and helpedchange into my pajamas. Once we were settled, we fell asleep with his arms wrapped around me.
I pushed myself up, scanning the room, only to find a small piece of folded paper on the nightstand. Curiosity piqued, I grabbed the note and unfolded it." Stormi, I couldn't stay, but last night... let's just say I'll be thinking about it all day. See you at training.
Isaiah I groaned, my face heating. "Great," I muttered, tossing the note back onto the nightstand. "Now I have to deal with him smirking all day." Despite the lingering awkwardness, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and began to get ready. By now, I was used to the early starts and grueling training sessions, though the thought of facing Isaiah made my stomach flutter in ways I wasn't entirely comfortable with.
I joined the others in the hallway, my hair tied back and my gloves in my left hand. As we started our walk to the arena," Good morning Stormi," Isaiah said I responded but I kept my eyes firmly ahead, refusing to meet Isaiah's gaze.
Austin noticed my odd behavior. He tilted his head, squinting at me. You're acting weird," he said bluntly. His gaze shifted fromto Isaiah, his sharp eyes narrowing. "Wait a second-what's going on here? Did something happen?" I froze, my entire body going rigid. Does he know what happened between us? I opened my mouth to deny it, but judging from his expression his suspicion only grew as he watched my flustered reaction.
"You're awfully quiet this morning," Austin said, squinting suspiciously at me. His eyes darted back and forth between us, his brows furrowed.
I quickly recovered. "What are you talking about?" Austin grinned, leaning closer. "You're not even looking at him. Did something happen?" I rolled my eyes and reached over, pinching his nipple hard.
"Ow!" Austin yelped, jumping back and clutching his chest. "What was that for?" "To shut you up," I said, smirking.
Alex snickered, patting Austin on the back. "Maybe you should learn to keep your mouth shut for once." Austin grumbled something under his breath but let it go, though his narrowed eyes made it clear he wasn't dropping the matter entirely.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtI ignored their bickering, my cheeks still burning as I quickened my pace toward the arena. Behind me, Isa..... chuckled softly, the sound sending a shiver down my spine When we reached the arena, Commander Lynne was already waiting, her arms crossed and her sharp gaze sweeping over us like a 1/2 Chapter Fifty Nine-1 hawk sizing up its p prey.
"Today's task," she began, her voice cutting through the morning air like a blade, "is a simple one. You'll navigate the obstacle course as a team. That means no heroics, no wandering off, and absolutely no whining" I bit back a groan I knew it was going to be more than impossible.
Commander Lynne gestured toward the sprawling course behind her It was a maze of hurdles, swinging platforms, magical snares, and glowing runes that radiated with the promise of illusions and tricks.
"Remember," she said, her voice hard, "you either succeed together, or you fail together." We nodded in unison, tension settling over us like a heavy cloud.
The course started off smoothly. We worked together to navigate the swinging beams, with Austin using his agility to leap ahead and secure a rope for us to cross. Elijah and Alex worked together to stabilize a collapsing bridge, while Isaiah scouted ahead to identify any potential traps.

"Uh, guys?" Austin's voice rang out, tinged with panic.
I turned just in tto see him dangling upside down from a glowing magical snate. His arms flailed wildly, his face red with frustration.
"Oh, for the love of-" I muttered, running back toward him.
"This is not funny!" Austin shouted, though his expression made it clear he knew exactly how ridiculous he looked.
I crouched next to the snare, examining the glowing runes etched into the ground. "Hold still,” I said, firmly. "I need to figure out how to undo this." "Take your time," he muttered sarcastically. "It's not like all the blood is rushing to my head or anything.
As I worked, the rest of the group found themselves fending off illusions of shadowy enemies conjured by the runes.
"Stormi!" Alex called, his fists connecting with one of the illusions. "Hurry up!" "I'm trying!" I snapped, my fingers fumbling with the intricate knots of the snare.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I managed to loosen the snare and free Austin. He dropped to the ground in an ungraceful heap, grinning up at me.
"Thanks, Stormi. You're my hero," he said, winking at me.
"Save it," I muttered, hauling him to his feet. "We need to keep moving and finish this before Lynne gets impatient." We finished the course together, but Commander Lynne's unimpressed expression was enough to kill any sense of accomplishment.
"Pathetic," she said, her tone dripping with disdain. "You completed the course, but your lack of coordination could have gotten you killed. Tomorrow our lesson will evolve you willing the gifts you received on the lunar redemption day I unders and that so far only Isaiah can manage to tap into his power with great difficulty. For now, Take a break."
I sat in the shade of a large oak tree outside near the edge of the training grounds, sipping water Mymates had gone to the cafeteria to go and get us something to eat I was too tired to make the long trip so Elijah offered to bringsomething. I leaned back against the trunk, my eyes closed as I let the cool breeze wash over me.
I didn't notice Austin creeping up behinduntil it was too late.
"Gotcha!" he exclaimed, grabbing my sides and tickling me' mercilessly.

Our playful wrestling quickly escalated, withattempting to gh wriggle free from his grasp. Eventually, I managed to trip him, sending us both tumbling to the ground in a tangle of limbs. Austin grinned up at her from where he lay pinned beneath me. "Not bad," he said, his tone light.
I smirked. "You're not as tough as you think, Austin." 1/2 Chapter Fifty Nine-2
His grin softened, and for a moment, the playful atmosphere shifted. His His hands cto rest lightly on my hips, his fingers brush against my skin. "You're irresistible when you laugh," he murmured, his voice low. My breath caught as he leaned up, capturing my lips in a kiss that was surprisingly tender. My wolf stirred at the contact, segerto kiss him back, and for a moment, I gave in.
But then I remembered where we were.
I stood up abruptly. "Nice try," I said, smirking down at him.
Austin laughed, his hands raised in mock surrender. "All right, all right, you win." From a few feet away, Alex's voice cut through the air.
"Should I leave you two alone, or should we all get a room?" he teased, his tone dripping with amusement.
I rolled her eyes, as I pretended to brush myself off. "You wish," I said, stalking away with as much dignity as I could muster.
Behind her, I could hear the two of them laughing, but I ignored them, my cheeks burning.
