Chapter 62 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sixty Two-1 Commander Lynne's return marked the end of our brief reprieve. She wasted no treminding us of the training we had missed, and by the end of the day, we were thoroughly exhausted. Muscles didn't even know existed ached, and I felt as though my limbs were made of lead.
After dinner, I mumbled a quick goodnight to my mates and trudged back to my room. The thought of a hot shower crossed my mind, but the effort seemed monumental. Instead, I flopped onto my bed, the soft mattress cradling my aching body. My muscles protested even the slight movement of pulling up the blanket.
I didn't even bother to shower. I was too tired to care, and the warmth of the blankets felt like heaven. Just as my eyelids began to flutter closed, a knock at my door startled me.
Groaning, I debated pretending I hadn't heard it, but the knocking persisted.
"Go away," I groaned, burying my face in my pillow.
The knock cagain, more insistent this time. With a tic sigh, I dragged myself up, wincing as my sore muscles remindedof the day's brutality. Summoning every ounce of strength, I pushed myself up, my sore muscles protesting with every movement. Opening the door, I was surprised to find Elijah standing there.
"What do you want?" I muttered, leaning against the doorframe.
"Cwith me," he said simply.
I stared at him, blinking in disbelief. "Elijah, I'm dead tired. Whatever it is can wait until tomorrow." A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "I promise it'll be worth it. And it'll help you relax." I crossed my arms, narrowing my eyes at him. "If I regret this, I'm punching you in the face." He chuckled a deep, rich sound that made something in my chest flutter. "Fair enough. But if you get tired, I'll carry you the rest of the way." Rolling my eyes, I stepped into the hallway, pulling the door shut behind me. "You'd better not be lying about this being worth it, carrot-head," I teased, trying to mask my curiosity.
He laughed again, a genuine warmth in his gaze as he reached for my hand. His fingers were calloused but gentle, a stark contrast that made my heart skip a beat. Together, we descended the staircase, our footsteps echoing softly in the quiet castle.
We headed toward a hidden doorway I hadn't noticed before. Elijah pushed it open, revealing a path that led outside the castle walls. The cool night air brushed against my skin, and I hesitated as we stepped into the dense woods.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Where are we going?" I asked, glancing at the dense woods ahead.
"You'll see," he said, his tone cryptic but reassuring.
The darkness of the forest was thick, the trees looming like silent sentinels. My steps faltered, memories of the shadow weaver flashing in my mind. The thought of its cold, oppressive presence sent a shiver down my spine.
"Are you scared?" he asked, glancing back atwith a teasing smile I lifted my chin defiantly. "No. It's just... "The dark remindsof the shadow weaver I said to myself. But this was a safe place and the shadow weaver had no influence here.
1/2 Chapter Sixty Two-1 But The memory of that terrifying encounter was still fresh, and being surrounded by darkness madeanesty. Sensing my hesitation, Elijah stopped, crouching down to pick up a smooth stone from the poind. Whispering something i coulder make out, he held it up, and it began to glow with a soft, golden light My eyes widened. "How did you do that?" "I saw one of the witches do it during training," he said, his tone casual, as if conjuring light from a stone was no big deal.
The warm glow of the stone pushed back the shadows, and I felt a little braver. Elijah turned back to me, his smile gentle, and something about the way he looked atmade my heart skip a beat, I remembered the moment we'd shared in the shower, and my cheeks heated at the memory.
We continued walking, the sound of our footsteps muffled by the soft earth. The forest was quiet, save for the occasional rustle of leaves in the wind. The glowing stone cast long shadows, and I found myself sticking, close to Elijah, drawn to the sense of safety he exuded.
"What's with the smile?" he asked, catchingstaring.
I blinked, startled. "I wasn't smiling." He raised an eyebrow, his smirk teasing. "Sure you weren't." "Don't makeregret coming with you," I warned, trying to sound stern but failing miserably, Elijah laughed, the sound filling the quiet forest: "Relax, Stormi. You'll thankwhen we get there." The temperature grew warmer, and the humidity wrapped around us like a blanket. The sound of bubbling water reached my ears, and when we stepped into a clearing, I gasped.
Before us was a natural hot spring, steam rising from its surface and curling into the cool night air. The moonlight reflected off the water, giving it a silver sheen that was almost magical.
"Elijah," I breathed, unable to hide my awe.

Before I could respond, he began tugging at his shirt, pulling it over his head in one swift motion. My eyes widened as he undressed without hesitation, his clothes quickly joining a pile on the ground.
"Elijah!" I yelped, spinning around. "Have sdecency!" He chuckled, the sound unrepentant. "It's not like you haven't seen before." My face burned, and I kept my back to him as I heard the splash of water. "Relax," he called, his voice laced with amusement. "The water's perfect." hat doesn't mean I want to see it now!" I hesitated, my eyes darting to the steaming pool. My aching muscles begged join him, but my pride keptrooted in place.
"If you're shy, I can close my eyes," he offered, the teasing edge in his tone softened by sincerity.
Grumbling under my breath, I quickly stripped down to my undergarments and slipped into the water, the heat envelopinglike a warm embrace.
I hesitated, my face burning. "Close your eyes!" He sighed tically but complied, covering his eyes with one hand. Keeping a wary eye clothes, grabbed a nearby towel for smodesty, and slipped into the water.

"Told you it was worth it," Elijah said, his voice filled with satisfaction. "Yeah, yeah you were right," I muttered, unable to hide the small smile on my lips.
For a while, we just sat there, the silence between us comfortable. The water rippled gently, and the steam carried the faint scent of minerals. I closed my eyes, letting the warmth seep into my bones.
"Cover here," Elijah said suddenly, breaking the silence.
I opened one eye to look at him. "I'm fine where I am." He arched a brow, his lips twitching into a smirk. "Suit yourself." Before I could react, he was moving toward me, the water parting around him. I barely had tto protest before his hands were on 1/3 Chapter Sixty Two-2 my waist, pullingcloser.
"Elijah!" I squeaked, trying to push him away.
He just grinned, his face inches from mine. "Relax, carrot head." His hands slid up my arms, and I felt my resistance melt away. The tension between us was palpable, and when his lips met mine, it was like a spark igniting a flame.

The heat of the water paled in comparison to the fire igniting between us. Every touch and every movement was electric, and felt myself getting lost in him. "I'm failing deeper for you each day." As He liftedup a little, I could feel his tip brushing my lower lips. Inch by inch he began entering me. I felt myself stretching to accommodate the intrusion. He was hard as an iron rod far too big to fit in me. "Wait", I panicked I wasn't ready.
"You're doing great, such a good girl", he whispered swallowing my whimpers with kisses. He moaned in pleasure as I finally settled onto him swallowing him whole. It was more pain than I ever imagined. I bit down on his lip and it was like I encouraged him as he deepened the kiss. I gasped as he thrust into me. My fingers dug into his broad back. He rested his forehead against mine, his breathing heavy. "You're incredible, Stormi. Do you know that?" I didn't respond, my chest too tight with emotion. Instead, I kissed him again, pouring everything I felt into that single moment.
The world faded away-the hot spring, the forest, the castle in the distance. All that mattered was us and the connection we shared.
