Chapter 63 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sixty Three The faint hum of voices tuggedfrom the depths of sleep. My head was still heavy with exhaustion from the night before, and I considered burying myself back under the covers. But curiosity got the better of me. Blinking against the sunlight streaming through the curtains, I opened my eyes to find a sight that joltedfully awake. There, standing by the door to my room, was Elijah. And he was wealing nothing but a pair of snug black briefs.

My cheeks flushed instantly as my gaze darted to his muscular frstill damp from what I assumed was a quick morning shower. The glistening sheen of water on his skin only made things worse- better, depending on how one looked at it.

But it wasn't just Elijah.

The doorway was crowded with the rest of my mates-Austin, Alex, and Isaiah-all of them looking smug and, for reasons I couldn't yet comprehend, slightly amused.

"You sly dog," Austin drawled, shaking his head at Elijah. "I can't believe she actually agreed to mate with you. Sneaky bastard." "Watch your mouth, Austin," Elijah retorted his tone even but with an unmistakable edge of authority. "You're talking to your Alpha." Alex, standing directly in front of him, threw up his hands. "I still can't believe you pulled it off! I mean, how'd you even get her to agree?" Elijah smirked, his tone calm and self-assured. "I didn't need to pull anything off. We drew lots, remember? I won fair and square." The words hitlike a slap to the face. Drew lots? 66 oh the lot you conveniently 'won."" Isaiah said.

My stomach twisted as the words sank in. Draw lots? Won? What are they talking about "It wasn't a bet," Elijah snapped, his smirk faltering. "It was a decision. It kept the peace between us." The realization hitlike a slap. They had reduced me-their supposed mate, someone they were supposed to cherish and respect -to a gof chance. Anger surged through me, hot and blinding.

I sat up in bed, glaring at all of them. My body ached, every muscle protesting as I stood wrapping the sheet around me, I ignored the ache in between my legs a reminder of what happened last night.

"Get out," I snapped, my voice cutting through the room like a whip.

All four heads turned to look at me, their playful smirks dropped from their faces, replaced by varying degrees of surprise and discomfort.

"Get out," I said, my voice low but trembling with fury.

"Stormi," Elijah began, stepping forward with his hands raised.

"I said, get out!" I shouted, my voice echoing through the hallway.

For a moment, no one moved. They stood there, wide-eyed, as if they couldn't believe I'd raised my voice. Then, one by one, they began to retreat.

Austin muttered something under his breath as he shuffled away, Isalah and Alex following close behind. Elijah lingered for a 1/3 Chapter Sixty Three moment, his gaze searching fine as though he wanted to explain.

I met his eyes coldly. "Don't." He opened his mouth to speak but seemed to think better of it. With curt nod, he turned and left.

The door clicked shut behind them, leavingalone with the swirling storm of my emotions. I stood there, my limbs still sore but my mind racing with indignation. Mating wasn't something casual. I wasn't a decision made lightly, and it certainly wasn't something to be treated like a bet.

The words replayed in my mind as I got ready for the day. Drew lots That's all I was to them? A decision made through chance? The anger simmering in my chest threatened to boil over, but I forced myself to focus. Training. I'd pour everything into training today. If they wanted to treatlike a prize, I'd show them I was far more than that.

Dressed in my training clothes, I left my room without a second glance at the empty hallway.

Commander Lynne was in rare form that morning, her sharp commands echoing across the training grounds as she orchestrated a brutal session designed to test both our physical and mental limits. The air was thick with the scent of sweat and the occasional groan of pain as we pushed through drill after drill.

I threw myself into the exercises with single-minded focus, determined to channel my frustration into something productive. Every punch, every kick, every dodge was fueled by the simmering anger in my chest.

Stormi," Austin called during a brief pause, jogging to my side.

I ignored him, adjusting the straps on my training gloves.

"Stormi, con," he pressed, his tone uncharacteristically serious. You're not really mad about what we said, are you? It's not what you think" I didn't dignify him with a response, moving to the next station without so much as a glance in his direction.

A few minutes later, Alex tried his luck. "Please give us a chance to explain." I pretended not to hear him, my focus locked on the target in front of me.

Even Isaiah gave it a shot, his tone softer and more cautious than the others. "Stormi, can we talk? Please?" I kept my silence, my jaw tight as I drove my fist into the training dummy with more force than necessary.

Elijah, to his credit, didn't say I anything. But I could feel his eyes on me, watching my every move with a mix of concern and something else I couldn't quite place. By the twe broke for what should have been lunch, I was ravenous and bone- tired. But Commander Lynne had other plans.

"Listen up," she barked, her piercing gaze sweeping over us. "I'm not impressed with the lack ofcoordination I've seen today. If you're too busy squabbling amongst yourselves to work as a team, then you don't deserve a break." A collective groan rose from my throat, but Lynne's expression didn't soften.

"No lunch today," she declared. "Maybe hunger will teach you to get your act together."

I bit back another sigh, silently cursing my mates for putting us in this situation. As much as I wanted el to be angry at them my stomach's growling made it hard to focus on anything else especially since the tension between us was palpable. Later Every attempt they made to talk towas met with silence, and every glance I caught from Elijah was a reminder of the betrayal I felt so 2/3 Chapter Sixty Three I threw myself into training with a fiery determination. Every strike very dodge, every move was fueled by the anger that still simmered in my chest.
