Chapter 66 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sixty Six-1 The next morning, as I stepped out of my room, ready for another grueling day of training, I took a long, steadying breath as I stepped out of my room, fully geared and ready for another day of grueling training. My legs still ached from the punishment Commander Lynne had handed out yesterday, but I refused to let it slowdown. I was determined to keep pushing forward, no matter how much my body protested.

As I closed the door behind me, I was startled to find my four mates standing outside in the hallway, clearly waiting for me. Isaiah, ever the impulsive one, had his hand halfway in the air, looking like he'd been about to knock. In his other hand, he held a bouquet of vibrant wildflowers.

For a moment, I just stared at them, unsure of what to make of the scene. They all looked unusually nervous-an expression ! wasn't accustomed to seeing on their faces.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked, crossing my arms.

Isaiah opened his mouth to speak, but before he could get a word ou, all four of them dropped to their knees simultaneously, their eyes filled with a mixture of guilt and determination.

"We're sorry," they said in unison, their voices earnest and filled with remorse.

My eyebrows shot up. This wasn't exactly what I had expected to wake up to.

"Stormi," Elijah began, his deep voice unusually soft, "we need to apologize, We didn't mean for you to feel like... like you were skind of gto us," he said, his gaze locked on mine. "The lot-drawing-it was stupid, and we see that now. It was a mistake, and we're deeply sorry." Isaiah chimed in quickly, "We're sorry, okay? About everything. The lot-drawing, the way we handled things-it was stupid, and it hurt you. That wasn't our intention." Austin chimed in, his usual playful demeanor replaced with sincerity. "Stormi, we didn't think about how it would make you feel. We were just trying to figure out how to manage... everything. But it was wrong, and we hurt you. That's the last thing any of us ever wanted." Alex nodded, his voice softer. "You're more than we deserve, We messed up, and we'll do whatever it takes to make it right." Isaiah held out the flowers, his expression almost nervous. "We're sorry, Stormi. Please, forgive us." I stared at them, my heart conflicted. Part ofwanted to stay angry, to make them work harder for my forgiveness. But seeing them like this-on their knees, admitting their fault-made it difficult to hold on to the hurt.

say Isaiah held out the bouquet of flowers, his mischievous grin softened into something earnest. “These are for you. And don'ts they're tacky because I picked the best ones." I let out a soft sigh and smiled, reaching out to take the flowers from Isaiah's outstretched hand. "It's okay," I said, my voice gentle.

Their relief was almost palpable. Elijah visibly relaxed, and Austin let out a small, relieved laugh.

"Thank you," Isaiah said, his voice barely above a whisper.

A small smile tugged at my lips despite myself. "You guys are ridiculous, you know that?" "It's okay," I said softly, looking at each of them in turn. "I forgive you." Their shoulders sagged in unison, the tension in the air dissipating.

1/2 Chapter Sixty Six-1 "Thank you, Stormi," Elijah said sincerely, standing up and offering e a small, grateful smile.

I turned back into my room, setting the bouquet on my nightstand. arranging the flowers inside. As I worked, I couldn't help but think beautiful. I planned to cback and fix the arrangement later, but thought behind them.

It felt lighter, more natural now that the weight of unspoken apologies had been lifted.

As we arrived at the arena, Commander Lynne stood waiting for us with her usual no-nonsense demeanor. Her piercing gaze swept over us, and I had the distinct impression she could tell something had shifted. "You're late," she said, her voice sharp as ever, "Not by much," Isaiah muttered under his breath, earning a sharp look from Lynne that made him snap his mouth shut.

"As I was saying," she continued, addressing the group, "today will be your final day of phase one training. Starting tomorrow, we move on to phase two." Austin groaned audibly, and I could practically feel Lynne's glare boring into him. "Something you'd like to add, Mr. Jokester?" "No, ma'am," Austin replied quickly, straightening up.

Lynne's gaze lingered on him for a moment before she turned back to the rest of us. "Good. Now, get in position. You're in for a long day? The training session was as grueling as ever, if not more so. Lynne pushed us to our limits, barking orders and demanding perfection. By the twe were allowed to take a break, my entire body felt like it had been put through a blender.

I leaned against the edge of the arena, wiping sweat from my brow as the others gathered around me. Isaiah, of course, was the first to try breaking the silence. "So, Stormi," he began, his tone teasing, "about this morning-" I shot him a warning look. "Don't push your luck." "Con, carrot head," he said, grinning. "I was just going to say that you looked cute holding those flowers. Didn't think you had a soft side." "Keep talking," I said, narrowing my eyes at him, "and I'll show you just how fast I've gotten."

Isaiah's grin widened, and I immediately regretted my choice of words. "Fast, hub?" Kesaid, his voice dripping with innuendo. "Careful, d with Stormi. A statement like that could be taken the wrong way" Heat rushed to my cheeks as I swatted his arm, harder than I probably needed to. "Isaiah!"

Austin burst out laughing, clutching anga his sides as he leaned against Elijah for support. "Oh, that was a good one. I've got to give it to you, bro." "Don't encourage him," I muttered, though I couldn't help the small smile that tugged at my lips.

Elijah shook his head, his expression a mix of exasperation and amusement. "You're impossible, Isaiah." Isaiah just shrugged, still grinning like he'd won skind of prize. What can I say? I have a gift."

Despite the playful banter, the break. didn't last long. Lynne quickly called us back into formation, and we spent the rest of the day pushing ourselves to the brink. By the tthe session finally ended I was too exhausted to do much more than shuffle back toward the castle with the others. 1/2 Chapter Sixty Six-2 Isaiah, always the chatterbox, tried to strike up another conversation but I waved him off. "Not now, Isaiah. I'm too tired for your nonsense." He pouted tically, but I ignored him, focusing instead on the ache in my legs and the sweet promise of a hot shower.

As we entered the castle, I turned to the others. "I'll see you tomorrow. I'm going straight to bed." || They nodded, offering quiet goodnights with kisses and I headed toward my room.

The day had been long and taxing, but as I collapsed onto my bed, I felt a strange sense of contentment.
