Chapter 67 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sixty Seven-1 The next morning, Rowena gathered us in the arena, her presence as commanding as ever. Her hair pulled into a tight braid, her emerald green eyes sharp with determination. The air was thick with anticipation, and I could tell I wasn't the only one curious about what she had planned.

"As you all know," Rowena began, her voice steady and sharp, "your training thus far has focused on physical endurance, combat, and teamwork. But none of that matters if you cannot harness yourue potential-your powers. That the moon goddess granted you during the lunar redemption day" My heart skipped a beat. We gained different abilities on that day but so far only Isaiah seemed to be able to harness his ability to teleport through shadows.

"I know most of you haven't been able to harness them since that day" Rowena continued, her piercing gaze sweeping over us. "Except, of course, for Isaiah." At this, the rest of us turned to Isaiah, who stood with his arms crossed. Isaiah straightened, though his smirk was quickly replaced by a sheepish grin when Rowena added, "Yes, Isaiah has attempted to use his powers," Rowena said, a slight smirk playing on her lips, "but with... let's just say mixed results." I arched a brow at him. "Mixed results?" Isaiah scratched the back of his neck, looking everywhere but at me. I might have accidentally teleported into the witches dorms once." The arena went silent for a moment, then erupted into laughter.

"Wait," Austin managed between chuckles, "you're saying you showed up in the middle of the witches' dorms by accident?" Isaiah's face turned an impressive shade of red. "I didn't mean to! I was trying to go somewhere else and... it just happened." "Peeping Tom," Alex teased, shaking his head with mock disapproval "You're the new peeping Tom", Austin said "Stormi you are relieved of your title," I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but laugh like the rest.

"I was not peeping!" Isaiah shot back, clearly exasperated. "It's not my fault I ended up there. The shadow teleportation thing is harder than it looks!" I couldn't resist piling on. "So, where exactly were you trying to go? Isaiah hesitated, and the redness in his face deepened. "Uh... your room." That earned him a round of whistles and jeers from the rest.

"Oh, this just gets better," Austin said, leaning on Alex for support as he laughed. "Letguess," I said, trying to keep a straight face. "You ended up in the showers?" Isaiah groaned, running a hand down his face. "Can we just focus on the training?" Rowena, who had been watching our exchange with mild amusement, clapped her hands to get our attention. "That's enough," she said. "You'll all begin learning to harness your abilities tomorrow. For today, use the twisely. Rest, reflect, prepare yourselves." With that, she dismissed us, and we left the arena in high spirits, the teasi of Isaiah continuing as we walked back toward the 1/2 Chapter Sixty Seven-1 castle.

As we neared our wing. Austin turned to us as he stretched tically "So, what are we supposed to do with the rest of the day? We're not exactly used to having free time." "Sleep?" Isaiah suggested, looking hopeful.

"No way," I said quickly. "We've been stuck in this castle for goodness long. Let's do something different. What about a pícnic?" There really moved slowly it was hard to keep track.

The guys exchanged glances, intrigued.

"A picnic?" Alex repeated.

"Outside the castle walls," I clarified. "We can take a break, breathe sfresh air, and maybe even enjoy ourselves for once." Elijah nodded. "I like it. It's been too long since we've relaxed." "What do we need for a picnic?" Alex asked, already sounding half-convinced.

I listed off a few essentials: blankets, food, drinks, and maybe a few books to read. Each of them volunteered to find an item, and we agreed to meet outside the castle gates by noon.

After a quick shower, I decided on a sundress-a soft, flowing thing that I hadn't worn in ages. The fabric felt strange against my skin after weeks of training gear, but it was a pleasant change. I combed my short hair that had grown into something sort of a pixie cut and made a mental note to cut it later.. Chapter Comments 1 POST COMMENT NOW < SHARE 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sixty Seven-2 When I stepped outside, they were already waiting under the large k tree near the gates. Isaiah had brought a basket of food, Elijah carried a stack of blankets, Alex had a small crate of drinks, and Austin had a mischievous grin that promised trouble.

"You look beautiful," Alex said while Austin wolf-whistled.

"Thank you", I smiled and said, "Where did you even get all this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Elijah chuckled. "We had to bribe the head chef. Cost a lot of bucks, but it was worth it." Together, we ventured beyond the castle walls, following a narrow path that led to a cliff overlooking the ocean. The view was breathtaking-the endless blue stretching out before us, waves crashing against the rocky shore far below.

We spread the blankets under a tall tree, its branches offering just enough shade, The food was simple but delicious-sandwiches, fruits, and a small cake that Isaiah claimed was "borrowed" from the kitchen.

As we ate, Austin stared out at the water. "I wonder what's out there!" he said quietly. "This is a different realm, right? Does it even have an edge?" "Maybe it's endless," Alex said, leaning back on his elbows. "Like skind of eternal ocean." "Or maybe there are other islands," I suggested my gaze following the horizon. "Other realms, even." We fell into a comfortable silence, the sound of the waves filling the air. After a while, I lay down on the blanket, staring up at the sky. The clouds drifted lazily, their shapes shifting with the breeze.

One by one, the others followed suit, lying back and gazing upward.

"Man, I miss the pack," Elijah said.

too," echoed Alex.

"I miss Mariah," I said softly, followed by silence.

"We miss her too," Isaiah said and held my hand. I nodded letting his words comfort me.

As the conversation aroundlulled, I felt my eyes grow heavy. I hadn't realized how tired I was until that moment. The sounds of the ocean and the warmth of the sun lulledinto a deep peaceful sleep. But my dream was nothing but that.

The world was dark. Flames roared around me, their heat suffocating I saw a shadowy wolf standing tall amidst a horde of umbrakins, its eyes glowing like molten gold piercing through the darkness. Around it swarmed hundreds of umbrakins, their shadowy forms blending into the smoke-filled air.

The flames rose higher, consuming everything.

The shadowy wolf's gaze locked onto mine, and I felt a wave of despair so intense it nearly broughtto my knees.

The world was in flames, and I was powerless to stop it.

"Stormi!" A hand shook me, joltingback to reality. I gasped, sitting up so quickly that the world spun. Alex was crouched beside me, brow furrowed with concern.

his 1/2 Chapter Sixty Seven-2 "You were dreaming," he said softly.

I glanced around. The others were watching me, their expressions ranging from worry to confusion.

"L... I think I saw something," I said, my voice trembling.

"What kind of something?" Elijah asked, his tone sharp.

1 hesitated, the memory of the vision still vivid in my mind. "A warning," I whispered." of what's to come." The weight of my words hung heavy in the air:

The mood had shifted. We packed up the picnic in silence, each of us lost in s. The our though back to the castle felt longer than usual, the warmth of the day now replaced by an uneasy chill. As we passed through the gates, Elijah placed a hand on my shoulder as the others went ahead of us. "What did you see," he said quietly.

m "The whole world completely destroyed," I said. I hesitated, the image of the shadowy wolf still fresh in my mind. "The world..." burning. A wolf surrounded by umbrakins. It felt like a warning." "Don't worry we will get through this," he assuredand placed a kiss on my forehead.

I nodded, though the unease in my chest refused to fade.

After saying goodnight to the others, I retreated to my room. As I lay in bed, the vision replayed in my mind. The wolf's eyes, the flames, the shadows. One thing was clear: whatever was coming, it was getting closer. And we had to be ready. Chapter Comments 1 POST COMMENT NOW
