Chapter 68 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sixty Eight The est of the day passed in an unproductive blur. I stayed in my room, curled up in the quiet sanctuary it provided. The events from the picnic lingered at the edge of my thoughts-the laughter, the teasing, the vision. I wanted to talk to Eira about it, but something heldback, as though putting it into words would make it even more real.

By dinnertime, I forced myself to join the others in the dining hall. The conversation swirled around me, but I stayed quiet, lost in my thoughts. My mates occasionally glanced at me, concern flickering in their eyes, but I just didn't feel like talking.

When dinner ended, I retreated to my room again, determined to shake off the unease weighingdown. A hot shower was exactly what I needed.

I headed to the bathroom, flipping the light switch as I stepped inside. Nothing happened. Frowning, I tried again, but the bulb didn't flicker to life.

"What the...?" I muttered, stepping back into my room to check the main light. It worked just fine, casting a warm glow across the room.

I turned back to the bathroom, squinting into the dim space. The bulb was missing entirely. My frown deepened. That was strange- very strange.

I considered going to find Rowena and telling her about it, but the thought of wandering the castle at this hour didn't appeal to me. I could deal with it tomorrow. For now, the light spilling in from my bedroom would have to do.

The steam from the hot water rose around me, creating a hazy cocoon that soothed my tense muscles. I let out a sigh, leaning my head back as the water cascaded over me.

Then I felt it-rough hands wrapping around my waist, firm and unyielding.

My wolf stirred instantly, her instincts sharp and primal. But I didn't need her to tellwho it was. I knew.

"Isaiah," I said through gritted teeth, shielding myself with my hands and turning to face him.

He smirked, entirely unbothered by my glare. The sight of him-completely naked and unapologetically confident- made my pulse race, though I would never admit it.

"Relax," he said, his voice low and smooth. "It's not like I haven't seen or touched any of this before." My face burned, both from the steam and his audacity. "What the hell are you doing?" He leaned against the tiled wall, his gaze shameless as it roamed over me. "What does it look like? I cto shower with you." My jaw dropped. "Are you insane?" He shrugged, unrepentant. "I enjoyed our last bath together. Haven't forgotten about it. Now every other bath feels boring." I groaned, frustration bubbling up. "Isaiah, you can't just—" Before I could finish, he stepped closer, cutting off my words with the heat of his presence. The shower was small, and the space between us disappeared in an instant.

"Can't just what?" he asked, his voice a soft challenge.

I opened my mouth to respond, but then he kissed me.

1/3 Chapter Sixty Eight The kiss was sudden and overwhelming, his lips crashing againstwith a hunger that leftbreathless, My protests melted away as his hands gripped my waist, pullingcloser until my chest was flush against his.

I couldn't think, couldn't speak. My body responded instinctively, my arms wrapping around his neck as I stood on my tiptoes-a familiar motion I'd done so many times when I kissed them goodnight.

The warm water cascaded over us, mingling with the heat building between us. Isaiah's hands roamed over my back, his touch both tender and possessive.

He broke the kiss just long enough to whisper, drivecrazy, stormi. You always have." His words sent a shiver down my spine, and before I could respond, He liftedeffortlessly, pinningagainst the cool tile wall. The contrast of the cold tiles and the heat of his skin made my breath hitch.

"Isaiah-" "Shh," he murmured, his lips brushing against my neck. "Relax." Any resistance I might have had crumbled under the intensity of his gaze. There was something raw and honest in the way he looked at me, as though I was the only thing in the world that mattered.

I leaned into him, my hands tangling in his hair as I kissed him back with equal fervor. The world outside the bathroom ceased to exist.

His lips moved from my mouth to my jaw, then down to my collarbone, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. My wolf purred with approval, her presence melding seamlessly with mine at that moment.

"I missed this," he admitted against my skin. "I missed you." "You seeevery day," I teased, though my voice was breathy.

"Not like this," he countered, his grip tightening on my hips as he heldagainst the wall. "Not like this." His hands roamed over my body, and I felt a surge of heat pooling in my core. I responded to his touch eagerly, wanting more, craving temper.

I gasped as he thrust intostretching my insides. My fingers dug into his broad back. "You're so wet," he moaned against my mouth. I could feel him below my belly button pressing on a tender spot that sent shivers down my spine each the stroked it. I moaned as I held onto his neck for support. His thrusts becharder and faster. His hard shaft stroked my insides. I was mailing my head off wanting more. He was so aggressive so wild with need, and I wanted more.

I leaned my head against his broad shoulder, my breath finally slowing after everything that had just happened.

For a long moment, we didn't say anything, The only sound was the water falling from the shower, I could feel his heartbeat against my cheek, steady but heavy.
