Chapter 71 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sevnty One-1 The moment we were back in the chamber, the first thing I did was look down at myself, inspecting my arms and legs. No cuts, no bruises, nothing. The pain I'd felt when that spear grazed me, the bone-jarring impacts from the Children of the Eclipse-it was all gone, as though none of it had ever happened.
I wasn't the only one checking. Elijah flexed his hands, his brow furrowed as he twisted his neck. Alex was running his fingers along his ribs, where I'd seen a witch land a particularly nasty kick, and Isaiah was rubbing his knuckles like he'd just cout of a brawl.
"Anyone else feel like they've just been hit by a freight train but somehow walked away without a scratch?" Alex muttered.
"I felt that spear," I said, my voice still raw from the growls of my wolf. "It was real." "It was an illusion," Eira cut in, her tone calm but sharp enough to slice through the tension in the room. She stood at the edge of the circle, her arms crossed and an almost smug expression on her face. "But illusions can be just as dangerous as reality. Your minds believed it, so your bodies reacted accordingly." Isaiah turned to her, his dark eyes narrowed. "And what if we hadn't survived your little test? What then?" Eira tilted her head, unbothered by his accusation. "If you hadn't survived, you wouldn't be standing here. But you did. And now you're stronger for it." Her words ignited a spark of anger in me, but I held it back. Barely. Instead, I focused on the faint hum of energy still coursing through me-the moon's essence, my wolf's power. It was both exhilarating and terrifying to feel so charged, so alive.

I glanced at my reflection on the polished stone table. My eyes were still glowing silver, a soft light pulsing faintly from my skin.
Eira's lips curved into a knowing smile. "You've tapped into something remarkable, Stormi. Something only you could awaken. The moon chose you for a reason, and it's tyou understand what that means." She motioned for us to gather around the stone table in the center of the room. I noticed the intricate carvings for the first time- moons in every phase, surrounded by runes I didn't recognize.
"This is the heart of the castle's power," Eira explained, her voice reverent. "It's where the first High Witches of the moon gathered to create a bond so strong it could withstand the darkest of forces. And now, it's your turn." I felt a shiver run throughas she placed her hand on my shoulder. "You, Stormi, are the Lunar Catalyst." "The what now?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow.
Eira ignored him, her gaze fixed on me. "You channel the moon's essence, Stormi. Its light, its power-it flows through you. You can shape it into a physical force for healing, protection, or attack. Your power grows stronger during celestial events, especially under a full moon. You've already seen glimpses of this-like when you illuminated the dark forest or shared your light with your mates." I swallowed hard, the weight of her words sinking in. "So... I'm like a battery for the moon?" Eira chuckled. "In a way. But you're much more than that. You're the heart of this bond, the one who holds the pack together. You're the savior, the silver wolf" Her words madefeel both humbled and overwhelmed.
1/2 Chapter Sevnty One-1 She turned to Elijah next. "And you, Elijah, are the Protector of the Pack. Your core ability is the Lunar Shield, a barrier that can repel both physical and magical attacks. You've already used it instinctively in battle, but with practice, you'll learn to expand its range and strength." Elijah nodded, his expression stoic but his eyes blazing with determination. Then she moved to Isaiah. "You, Isaiah, are the Silent Strategist. Your core ability is Shadow Step-the ability to move through shadows, becoming nearly invisible and reappearing anywhere within their range. You've already begun to shape shadows into weapons, but this is only the beginning. You are the pack's stealth expert, the one who can strike from the shadows and disrupt the enemy's plans." Isaiah didn't say anything, but the subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his lips toldhe was already thinking of ways to use his newfound power.
Eira turned to Alex next. "Ah, the FlBearer," she said with a grin "Your core ability, Lunar Flames, allows you to summon and manipulate fire infused with moonlight. These flames are particularly effective against dark magic, like the kind used by the Children of the Eclipse. You're also the fastest of the group, able to outrun almost any opponent and deliver rapid, fiery attacks." Alex grinned, his confidence practically radiating off him. "Guess I'm the star player now." Eira rolled her eyes before addressing Austin. "And finally, we have the Ice Wielder. Austin, your core ability, Frozen Moonlight, lets you summon ice and frost. You can freeze enemies, create shields, and shape ice into weapons. Your powers complement Alex's flames, creating a balance of offense and defense." Austin gave a small nod, his expression thoughtful.
"But you also possess a unique trait," Eira added, her tone softening. "The Chill of Serenity. Your ice can calm hostile magic or stabilize overcharged powers- particularly Stormi's. You're the pack's stabilizing force, the one who brings balance when things spiral out of control." Austin's eyes flicked to mine, and he smiled faintly. "Guess I'll be keeping you grounded, huh?" he winked.
I smiled back, feeling my cheeks flush.

Eira stepped back, her gaze sweeping over all of us. "Individually, your powers are formidable. But together, you are unstoppable. When all five of you are united, your powers amplify exponentially. This is called Lunar Synergy. In critical moments, you can form a Lunar Convergence-a radiant energy field that heals allies, empowers your attacks, and purges darkness. This ability reflects the strength of your bond, which grows stronger with Stormi as its heart
She paused, letting the weight of her words settle. "But this bond is not your automatic. It requires trust unity, and balance. You must learn to work together, to rely on one another. Only then will you unlock the full potential of your powers?" The room fell silent as we absorbed everything she'd said. The idea of being this powerful, of having this connection to each other- it was exhilarating and terrifying all at once.
Eira suddenly clapped her hands, breaking the silence. "Enough talk. Let's see what you've learned." Before we could protest, she turned to Austin and flung a bolt of magic at him. He reacted instantly, raising a shield of ice that absorbed the attack.
"Hey!" he yelped, glaring at her.
Eira smirked. "Good reflexes. Now, Alex-let's see those flames." Alex stepped forward, flames sparking to life in his hands. With a flick of his wrist, he sent a stream of fire toward a target Eira conjured out of thin air. The flames engulfed it, leaving nothing but sh.
1/2 Chapter Sevnty One-2 Isaiah disappeared into the shadows, reappearing behind Eira with his shadow blade poised at her back. She raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed.
Elijah summoned his Lunar Shield, its silvery glow enveloping all of us as Eira launched a barrage of magical attacks. The shield held strong, repelling every strike.
Finally, Eira turned to me. "Your turn, Stormi. Showthe Lunar Catalyst."
Taking a deep breath, I focused on the energy within me. The silver light flared, spreading out in a wave that touched each of my mates. Their powers surged in response, their eyes glowing brighter as their abilities intensified. Eira stepped back, a satisfied smile on her face. "Excellent." Chapter Comments LIKE
