Chapter 74 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Seventy Four-1 The twins and I carried the dusty books to my room, their spines cracked and edges frayed from centuries of handling. Despite their age, these tomes held power-not just in their contents, but in the weight of history they bore. The dim light of my bedside lamp cast long shadows across the room as we settled onto the plush carpet, spreading the books in a semicircle around us.

Austin leaned back against the bedframe, flipping through the pages of a particularly ancient volume. "You'd think after all this time, someone would've at least thought to type these out," he muttered.

Alex smirked from his place on the floor. "And lose the charm of deciphering faded ink? Never." I couldn't help but grin as I opened one of the books, the musty scent of old paper filling my nose. But as we read, the lighthearted mood began to fade. The texts told a chilling tale-one that made my stomach twist with unease.

The books spoke of a tlong ago when the High Witches governed with wisdom and unity. But beneath the surface of their peace lay a festering darkness. One of the High Witches, lured by whispers of forbidden power, allowed herself to be swayed by the Shadow Weaver.

Her betrayal fractured the unity of the High Witches, her descent into darkness giving rise to the Children of the Eclipse. These witches, bound by their fanatical devotion to the Shadow Weaver, sought to resurrect the entity and unleash its chaos upon the world once more. They used forbidden arts given by the shadow weaver and helped create the first umbrakin. Just as wolves were born from the moonlight these creatures were born from darkness.

"They revered the Shadow Weaver as a god," I murmured, reading aloud. "A god of darkness and chaos." Alex leaned closer, his eyes scanning the text alongside mine. "And they're still trying to bring it back," he said grimly. "That's what all this is about. The rituals, the attacks-they're all steps toward reviving the Shadow Weaver." Austin ran a hand through his hair, his brow furrowed. "But the shadow weaver is bound in its prison by the lunar keystone.." He closed his book with a thud, leaning back with a heavy sigh. "And Stormi is the only one that knows where it is." He was right but, I didn't know where to begin from. And then the riddle rang in my ear.

Whispers from the ancient Willow's boughs, In a cavern's shadow where history allows.

By the moonlit lake, reflections guide, Symbols hidden in ripples, where secrets abide.

Guardians of the night, statues stand tall, Midnight echoes in the pack's sacred hall.

Within the ancient forest, the howls reveal, A path to follow, a destiny to unseal.

At the mountaintop ruins where stars align, Celestial convergence, a gateway to find.

Decipher these riddles, a cosmic quest, 1/2 Chapter Seventy Four-1 To the Moonlit Nexus, where the Keystone rests.

I said it out loud the twins saying the last part with me.

"I remember hearing that during the lunar redemption day," Austin said. "Maybe it's a clue on how to find it we can start by deciphering what the riddle means." "Yes we need to find it before the children of the Eclipse do," Alex said.

They were right we needed to find the keystone before the children of the Eclipse and if we did we had to protect it at all costs.

After a while, the twins yawned in unison, their exhaustion evident. Austin stretched his arms over his head, his shirt riding up slightly to reveal a sliver of toned muscle. “I think that's enough apocalyptic bedtreading for one night," he said, his voice laced with fatigue.

Alex nodded, standing and gathering the books into a neat pile. "Agreed. My brain's officially fried." I walked them to the door, my own body feeling the pull of exhaustion despite the buzz of adrenaline that lingered from our discoveries. As I reached for the doorknob, Alex turned suddenly, catchingoff guard. His hand cupped my cheek, his touch warm and grounding.

"What-"I began, but my words were cut off as his lips met mine.

The kiss was soft at first, a gentle press of his mouth against mine that sent a shiver down my spine. Then it deepened, his hand sliding to the back of my neck as he tilted my head to meet him fully. My heart raced, my thoughts scattering like leaves in a storm.

When he finally pulled away, his eyes met mine, a faint smirk playing at his lips. "Goodnight," he murmured, his voice low and rough.

Austin's kiss was different-hungrier, more demanding. His hands found my waist, his fingers pressing into my skin as he pulledcloser. I barely had tto process the sensation before I felt my fee leave the ground. His arms wrapped around me, liftingeffortlessly as if I weighed nothing.

Startled, I instinctively wrapped my legs around his waist, my hands clutching at his shoulders for balance. The movement broughtcloser to him, the heat of his body seeping through the thin fabric of my tank top.

"Wait-" I managed to gasp, pulling back slightly.

But before I could say more, Alex was behind me, his hands resting lightly on my hips. His lips brushed against the side of my neck, sending a jolt of electricity through me. "Relax," he murmured, his voice like silk against my ear. "We've got you." My breath hitched, my mind struggling to keep up with the sensations overwhelming me. The two of them moved in perfect harmony, their touches both reassuring and intoxicating. Austin's grip onwas firm yet gentle, groundingeven as Alex's lips and hands explored with a confidence that leftdizzy. "How... how does this work?" I finally managed to ask, my voice barely above a whisper. Alex's hand snaked its way up my tank top cupping my breast.

Austin chuckled, the sound vibrating through me. "You let us take the lead," he said, his tone teasing but filled with promise. "We'll show you."

Before I could respond, Alex's lips found the sensitive spot just below my ear, and my resolve wavered. My world narrowed to the twin στην sensations of their touch, their presence envelopingcompletely.

For a moment, all thoughts of danger, of the Children of the Eclipse, of anything beyond this room, melted away. And then, just as quickly as it began, I pulled back. "Wait," I said again, my voice firmer this time.

The twins immediately stilled, their eyes searching mine. There was no frustration in their expressions, only understanding.

"Too much?" Alex asked, his hands dropping to his sides.

I nodded, my cheeks flushing. "A little.

I just... I need a moment." Austin setdown gently, his hands lingering at my waist as if reluctant to let go. "We get it," he said, his usual teasing replaced by a quiet sincerity. "No rush." The warmth in their gazes made my heart ache in the best way. "Goodnight," I said softly, opening the door for them. "Goodnight," Alex replied, brushing a quick kiss against my temple as he passed. Austin followed, pausing just long enough to givea wink. "Sweet dreams, Stormi." As the door closed behind them, I leaned against it, my fingers brushing over my lips. Sweet dreams, indeed.

slid down to the floor, pressing my palms against the cool wood to steady myself. The twins had always been close-inseparable. Everyone knew that. It was one of the many things that made them unique. They didn't just share a bond as brothers; they shared... well, everything. Including the girls they dated.

That thought sent a jolt through me. I knew it was true. I'd seen it firsthand back at school when I peeped at them under the 1/2 Chapter Seventy Four-2 bleachers. Austin and Alex had a reputation, not just for their good looks and charm but for their unusual arrangement when it cto relationships. The girls they'd been with never seemed to mind-in fact, most of them had found the twins' attention thrilling, intoxicating even.

If they shared the girls they dated, did that mean they were going to sharetoo? Because it seemed like that moments ago when they kissed me. The way their hands moved in coordination making sure not to get in each other's way.

My cheeks burned at the thought, and I buried my face in my hands.

How would that even work? How was I supposed to mate with both of them at the stime? The question sent a shiver through e-not just of nervousness, but of something else I wasn't quite ready to admit. I won't lie it sounded sexy. But if their stamina was like any of that of Elijah and Isaiah I doubt I would have the strength to walk the next day or even move a finger. I stood up and began pacing the room, trying to shake the whirlwind of thoughts from my mind. This was insane.

I wanted them. Both of them. And maybe that was the scariest part of all.
