Chapter 77 Chapter Sevety Seven-1 After the battle and my near-death experience, my mates insisted that I rest. Eira had given the the day off from training, which should have felt like a gift, but instead, I felt... off. Restless. Uneasy, I knew why. The fight in Armenia had shakenmore than I cared admit. I had thought I was strong, that our training had prepared us, but the Children of the Eclipse had provenwrong. They had been faster, stronger, and more merciless than 1 expected. If not for my mates, I wouldn't be here.
The weight of that truth sat heavy on my chest.
Sensing my mood, Austin, always the mischief-maker, clapped his hands together. "Alright, no more brooding. We're taking a break." I raised an eyebrow. "A break from what? I've literally been doing nothing all day." "A break from moping," Isaiah teased.
"We're going for a swim," Elijah said simply, stretching his arms. "To the hot spring." My ears perked up at that. "The Hot spring?" my cheeks flushed after I remembered what happened there between Elijah and me.
Alex smirked. "You'll love it. Besides it's Perfect for relaxing." Austin stretched his arms behind his head. "You need a distraction, and what better way than a run through the woods to get there?" Elijah met my gaze, his expression softer. "It'll help clear your head.
I let out a slow breath, knowing they were right.
"Fine," I muttered, standing.
I barely had tto register his words before they all shifted into their wolves. One by one, they stood before me, their powerful forms blending into the surrounding trees. Their eyes gleamed, waiting forto follow suit.
I let out a breath, pushing aside my lingering doubts, and shifted. My silver wolf emerged, larger than all of theirs, glowing like moonlight trapped in fur.
"Catch you later, losers," I taunted, before dashing into the woods. "Try to keep up," I teased.
As I ran, the wind rushing through my fur, something strange happened.
The world aroundflickered, like a candle caught in the wind. One moment, I was sprinting through the dense forest, my paws kicking up leaves. The next, I was somewhere else.
A vision. But this time, I wasn't dreaming.
The boy, older now, moving through the swoods. His hair was longer, tied back, and his face was more defined-sharp angles, piercing eyes filled with purpose. He was no longer a child running for his life.

Then, a soft whisper filled the air, carrying with it the familiar cadence of the riddle from my dream: Whispers from the ancient Willow's boughs," 1/2 Chapter Sevety Seven-1 In a cavern's shadow where history allows.

I froze, my heart racing as the words echoed in my mind.
A massive white elk stood before him, its antlers looked like branches adorned with delicate green leaves. The sight of it made my breath hitch-it was him, the sane elk I had once saved.
2 The boy approached it cautiously, one hand reaching out. "Old friend," he murmured, voice low and reverent. "I need a favor." I didn't get to hear what favor he needed.
The world snapped back into focus, and I suddenly found myself standing in the middle of the forest, surrounded by my mates in their wolf forms.
They were staring at me, their eyes sharp with concern.
"What happened?" Elijah asked through our telepathic link.
I blinked, shaking my head. "Nothing," I lied. "Just... got lost in thought." Chapter Comments Visitor was the elk infront of her VIEW ALL 2 COMMENTS > LIKE SHARE POST COMMENT 2/2 The Omega: Mated To The Four Chapter Sevety Seven-2 They didn't look convinced, but they didn't press.
1 shook off the lingering haze of the vision and let a smirk curl on my wolfish lips.
"Last one to the hot spring is a rotten potato!" And with that, I took off.
I reached the hot spring first, unsurprisingly. My wolf form gavean advantage, my glowing fur a blur as I darted past my mates.
The hot spring was as breathtaking as ever. Steam curled off the surface of the crystal-clear water, its warmth beckoning after the long run. The glowing stones around it cast a faint shimmer against the rippling surface.
I barely had tto take in the scenery before a force slammed into the from behind.
With a startled yelp, I was sent flying into the water.
I surfaced, spluttering, just in tto hear Austin's wheezing laughter. Elijah stood at the edge, arms crossed, looking far too * pleased with himself.
"Are you serious?" I glared at him.
"I owed you for earlier," Elijah smirked.
Isaiah snorted, stepping into the water, while Alex simply dived in, resurfacing nearwith a satisfied sigh.
Then I realized something.
They were all naked.
I had seen them like this before, but no matter how many times it happened, it never got easier.
Austin noticed my staring and smirked. "Like what you see?" I rolled my eyes, sinking deeper into the water to hide my face. "Shut up." They chuckled but didn't push further. For a while, we simply soaked in the warmth, the tension in my muscles slowly easing.
But I still couldn't help but feel bad for failing to listen to Eira's instructions during the fight.
Austin must have noticed, because he flicked a handful of water at me, smirking.

Austin yelped, pretending to look offended before a slow grin stretched across his face.
"Oh, it's on." Before I could react, he lunged, tacklinginto the water. I shrieked, trying to
push him off, but then Alex joined in, grabbingfrom behind, his m laughte Numbling in my ear. "Traitor!" I sputtered, trying to escape, but they were too strong.

"She's already injured," Elijah pointed out.
Austin grinned. "Nah, she's fine." "I almost died," I reminded him.
"And you're still here," Alex added, pressing a quick kiss against my wet hair before finally releasing me.
I sighed, shaking the water from my face as I floated on my back, staring up at the sky. The stars were bright tonight, scattered like tiny shards of light. The moon, full and golden, loomed above us, a silent guardian watching over the realm.
But something still gnawed at me.
And I wasn't the only one who felt it.
Alex was the first to speak. "This realm... it's different, isn't it?" I turned my head to look at him. "What do you mean?" "The more we learn about the Umbral Society, the witches, and our history..." He trailed off, his gaze distant. "It makeswonder. Are we fighting the right battle?" His words sent a ripple through me, a disturbance in the water I hadn't been expecting.
I frowned. "Of course, we are. The Children of the Eclipse want to m resurrect the Shadow Weaver. That would destroy everything." "Yes, but think about the Moon Keystone for a second," Isaiah said, his voice quiet
but firm. "If we find it... then the entire yexists will reason the Umbral Societyex disappear. A heavy silence fell over us.
"Power is a dangerous thing," Elijah said. "And people don't let go of it easily." Austin ran a hand through his wet hair. "So, the question is-are we sure they want us to find the Keystone?" I frowned, suddenly uncertain.
