Chapter 582: Brenna shared the sconcern and turned to Thiago, asking, "Do you think the bodyguards your friend arranged for us can be trusted? None of them has shown up yet." Thiago's face was tense.

"I don't know. Something must have happened. Many of those bodyguards are from Vanland. It's possible that one or two might betray us, but all of them? That's hard to believe." Brenna nodded, her expression firm.

"If they perished in the fire, we must make sure their families are generously compensated." Before they could fully process the shock of their narrow escape, a new threat emerged.

In the open space outside the hotel, a group of men in black aimed rifles at the crowd.

Instinctively, everyone recoiled. Screams rang out behind Brenna, mostly from terrified women, plunging the scene into chaos.

"Brenna!" Thiago's voice broke with fear. He knew too well what these people were capable of. If Ethan and Brenna fell into their hands, the consequences would be dire.
