Chapter 1053: She pulled her arm away from Brady and turned to leave.
"Hadley!" Brady stepped forward quickly, placing himself in front of her. "I'm just worried about you." Hadley let out a faint, cold laugh. “I don't need you to be." The look on her face made her feelings crystal clear. She was cold, bitter, and full of resentment. Brady felt the sting, though he had expected it. "Do you really loathethat much, Hadley?" She paused. She clearly found the question ridiculous. "Shouldn't I?" "I know what my parents did to you was wrong, but..." Brady's brows furrowed deeply. "I never did anything to hurt you." "That's exactly the point." Hadley glanced at him with eyes filled with scorn. "You didn't need to do anything. Your mere existence hurts me.

As the search results loaded, his eyes widened. "This medicine... Is her condition really that serious?" Hadley hadn't expected Brady to show up on set again.
With people everywhere and the high risk of being photographed again, she led him to the prop storage room for privacy.
Her brow creased with irritation as she crossed her arms. "Whatever you have to say, make it quick, and then get out." "Hadley." Brady pulled out his phone, opened the page he had looked up earlier, and held it out to her. "This is the medicine you're taking, right?" Hadley gave it a quick glance, and a flicker of surprise crossed her face. So, he had actually remembered the nafter seeing it just once.
"Hadley!" Brady grew more concerned as he saw her reaction. "What's going on? What illness are you dealing with?" According to the information he found online, the drug was used to treat blood and immune-related conditions.
"Hadley, is your illness very serious?" he asked, his eyes full of alarm. Seeing the genuine fear in his expression, Hadley found herself at a loss for words.
"Oh, say something!" Brady was so worried he couldn't keep still and began pacing nervously. "What kind of problem is it? What exactly is the nature of the illness?" "Why are you raising your voice?" Hadley snapped. "What has it got to do with you anyway?"
"So you won't tell me?" Brady pressed, trying to piece it together. "Is it leukemia? Aplastic anemia?" Hadley's eyes shot wide in shock. He actually guessed right! "Hadley?" Brady noticed the change in her expression. “Is it aplastic anemia?"
Brady's expression grew serious, and his face turned a little palechem ay @little stammered, "Aplastic... anemia?"
Hadley didn't respond, but her body grew tense, and color slowly drained from her face.
