Chapter 1526
Chapter 1526
When Lesley heard that the people of the research base said that they were going to give up, she naturally wouldn't
allow it. She immediately became worked up.
"Logan only jumped off because the base was constantly tormenting him! Why are you giving up so easily?" Lesley
shouted at the people of the research base angrily.
Faced with her complaint, people from the research base looked at each other with blank expressions on their
faces.
They look as if what happened to Logan had nothing to do with them.
This made Lesley even more angry and her voice became sharp as well. "I don't care. I want to see him, dead or
alive!"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtSeeing them leave, Lesley's expression changed. She immediately rushed over to stop them. "You're not allowed to
leave until you find Logan!"
The people from the research base began to become impatient. The leader snorted. "What the hell do you think
you're doing? He's probably in pieces by now, after falling from such a height. He might have even been eaten by
the fish in the sea."
After hearing those words, Lesley just fainted.
Lesley's eyes were tightly closed and her face was extremely pale.
Although she knew that Logan was fine, Molly was still quite angry. She raised her head, glared at the people from
the research base and scolded, "You guys don't care about other people's lives at all."
'They're just heartless bastards! No, calling them bastards would be an insult to bastards!' Molly exclaimed inwardly.
People from the research base just ignored them. They just wrapped things up and left.
Seeing this, Molly had no choice but to force herself to calm down. She quickly picked Lesley up and took her to the
nearest clinic.
As soon as she walked in, she shouted at the top of her voice, "Where’s the doctor? There's someone that needs
help!"
The doctor and nurse quickly walked over after hearing those words and took Lesley to the resting area.
"Doctor, is my friend going to be alright?" Molly asked as if she was worried sick.
"Calm down, let's take a look at her first."
The doctor tried to comfort Molly and then began to perform a checkup on Lesley.
About 10 minutes later, the doctor removed his stethoscope, raised his head and looked at Molly. "You're friend was
just too worked up, plus the fact that she hadn't eaten for a day, which caused her to faint."
When Molly heard those words, she quickly pretended to breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much, doctor."
The doctor waved his hand. "This is my job."
He then turned around to fetch some medicine and told a nurse to give Lesley an injection.

look like someone who was sick at all.
She then immediately asked Molly, "My acting wasn't bad, was it?"
Molly let out a helpless smile and raised a thumb to give a compliment. "You did really well. It's a pity that you're not
an actress. You were so realistic that you've even scared me."
"I felt it wasn't bad either. You did pretty well as well. You're a doctor yourself and you made it look like you knew
nothing!"
The two girls smiled at each other and both felt relaxed.
Molly then gave Sean a call and told him about the situation on her side.
When Sean knew what had happened, he said gently, "I'm aware. Leave the rest to me. You can just stay by
Lesley's side tonight."
"Okay." Molly nodded then hung up the phone and told Lesley what Sean said.
Lesley didn't feel any pressure at all. She just stayed in the clinic that night.
