"Mr. Handsome, you're here!" Dora chirped. Her eyes lit up with delight when she saw Bernard.

Hopping off her chair, she thought of going to the living room and bringing him to the dining room to have lunch with them.

However, the cold look on his face made her stop halfway to the living room. She didn't dare take another step. He looked so stern

and unapproachable.

"You guys have lunch first. | need to go out for a bit," said Hera, getting up from her seat.

After carrying Dora back to the dining table, Hera went to the living room and led Bernard out of the house.

When the two of them were outside, Bernard grabbed her hand and pushed her into the car so that she was sitting in the

passenger seat. He then sat in the driver's seat beside her and started the engine.

They left the mansion. Throughout the journey, neither of them spoke. It felt cold in the car although the heater was turned on.
